I had a bad experience with another nail grinder, so I was really hoping this one worked out well. I'm very glad to report that this grinder has been the perfect option for keeping my dog's nails short and rounded. Even if you're not experienced with grinders, this makes it easy. Just be careful not to file too much off. I haven't had it die on me yet and I just put it on the charger after 4-5 uses on my two little dogs.

Couldn’t get it to work after the first time turning it on. Quality wasn’t great.

this kit is great, but probably better for dogs. My cats were nervous about the noise and wouldn't let me get near them with it. That said, know your cat's limits. Know what they can tolerate and what they can reasonably be pushed to.

My dog is fuzzy and little. I like the small hair blade attachment for in between the toes and the face. The grinder is good for after cutting nails.

So I got this to trim mats off of my elderly, long haired cat. He doesn't groom like he used to and I do what I can, but he still gets matted. This clipper is extremely quiet and worked great the first time I used it. Not even shaving whole patches, just shaving off spots where the mats are. Second time got a lot more spots and a lot of hair, but the 3rd time I used it I had to really push into the hair to get it to cut. I still like how quiet they are. I don't think my cats would let me use this if it were as loud as regular clippers can be. The body of the clipper is smaller than I thought it would be as well, but it makes it nice and light weight and fits in the hand nicely. I normally do this with scissors but my eye sight isn't what it used to be. This is a little safer and I can get completely down to the skin to get rid of all of the mats which is perfect. I hope I find I was just doing something wrong last time when I use it again, but deducted one star for it already not cutting well after such short amount of use. Might work better on more course dog hair.

Our dog is 23 lbs, has webbed paws with super hard nails (guess it is a terrier thing). His nails look long compared to other dogs because the nails are exposed instead of covered with fur. He isn’t a fan of having his nails done. The grinder has a nice feel in the hand. Not heavy, easy to manipulate with a squirming dog. Soft hum when running. Not loud at all. Holds a good charge.Grinder has three different areas and surfaces for grinding.Remember it is 45 degrees from the dog.Grinder is perfect with a small nail dog, even a cat. Our dog has much harder and larger nails, which is something to consider with this product. Being that his nails are so hard and dense, I fear the amount of time on grinding his nails would cause him much discomfort. A more aggressive type of grinder would be better for him I would think. But also, once you have the nail length, it is a perfect tool for a more regular (constant) grind.Hair clipper has several attachments and combs. Useful for trimming around the eyes which can help with the staining from the tear ducts. Additionally and be used for touch ups for dog shows to maintain breed standard coats.

Its ok for a small to medium dog. It is quieter and that's what counts. The grinder however, is a polisher. I was able to shape my dog's nails, not grind them down.

Very easy to use to file my pets nails. It is very quiet which is perfect for your fur babies. Ergonomically functional, very durable and works great! Great for the value, works very well. It’s also perfect for touching up and trimming hair around the eyes and hard to get places. It took about 45 min to an hour to charge, holds a good charge and the best part is that it’s super quiet! Our dogs loved it!
