My little dog is a picky eater but her favorite activity is sniffing sniffing sniffing. Now whatever kibble she doesn't eat out of her bowl at mealtime, I'll pour onto this mat and she is delighted and will forage until it's gone. She really loves it, and I love how stimulating it is for her. The quality is excellent, great value for the price. Seriously probably my favorite "toy" I've bought so far!

My puppy’s trainer suggested I try this when she gets overly excited and hard to calm down because sniffing out the treats is like taking a bunch of deep breaths. It’s like tricking your dog into meditation. I found that freeze dried salmon works the best for us because it’s so stinky that it keeps her attention until she’s found every last morsel. Then she’s back to the calm, easygoing, loving pup that I know she is.Much love to any other puppy parents out there going through the bonkers teething / fear period / growth spurt / pre-neuter/spay hormone attitude phase all at the same time.

I love this thing. My dog always eats as though she is starving and inhales her food. This slows her down and gives her some stimulation. I can see this getting torn apart my a more aggressive dog, but it’s perfect for my pug who does not destroy toys or tear apart fabric. It’s an excellent value for the price.

This is an easy brain teaser for your dog or cat. I love "loading" it and as I do, my dog is standing there, watching me, wagging her tail, she will even go and sit by it and wag her tail. She is 16 years old old and she is enjoying this immensely. It washes and dries nicely.

This does a great job of not only slowing your dog down but also exposing them to the idea of working for their food. My favorite features of this one specifically are how compact it can be when not in use and how easy it is to clean. Just throw it in the washing machine and it will remove any smell. My dog can and does move this around so it’s not stationary. Easily on the lower end for a snuffle mat

I ordered two at the same time- this one for our 20 lb dog and one of the felt ones (w 3 in felt pieces) for our 70lb dog. This one is not as great as the other type. The food kind of sits on the top, so the dog doesn’t need to snuffle very hard. It also looks harder to pull the food out without the dog ingesting fabric. Finally, there is no suction on this one so it moves all over the floor. However, it is soft and cleans nicely in the washing machine. I’ve just noticed that neither dog wants to use this snuffle bowl over the months. The felt one is very interesting to them and keeps them busier longer.

It’s a nice sturdy product. It’s a decent size. The issue is that it’s hard to load effectively and not just put all of the kibble on the very top. The non-Skid discs on the bottom of the product are also coming off after washing it three times. I don’t put it in the dryer. The colors is a pleasant gray because it’s so hard to load. It’s not very functional. If you have super small dog kibble or maybe cat kibble it might work out OK but for standard sized medium dog kibble it just doesn’t get into the crevices well enough to be a useful snuffle mat.

I heard about the bowls/mats from a friend and am really pleased with the product. More importantly, my dog loves it. Keeps him busy and happy!

I’ve had this product since October. My dog loves it! I’ve had to wash it a couple times and now unfortunately it’s starting to fall apart. I’m disappointed in the durability.

Great value, quality construction and materials. Made by, or sold under the brand; ‘Pet Parents’. Body of the mat is woven polyester that is very durable. You can cinch it up to have an lip to hold the kibble/treats in, or loosen the drawstring and lay it flat. The drawstring has a compartment to tuck the extra rope in for your pets safety. The chenille type field looks very washable and they didn't cheap out on the number of strands. So far my dogs have loved it.

This has been great for our fast eating, food obsessed medium sized (40lb) dog. She spends a good 10 minutes ‘digging’ around with her nose to find all the kibble. Smaller the kibble, the better this will work.
