It DOES NOT fit a 4x6 photo. It’s only about 1/8 of an inch too short but it looks tacky when the photo hangs over the bottom and this was purchased as a gift. I had to cut a strip off the bottom of the photo. All they had to do was either make it about 1/4 of an inch longer, OR be up front and honest and tell people to use a 3x5 photo. There was also a chip in the wood that was noticeable enough that I had to put on a dab of paint to cover it. It’s fairly cute for the price but not happy with the misleading advertising saying that it fits a 4x6. Others have complained about this in reviews. Thought that perhaps they hadn’t mounted it properly. Nope. I should have listened.UPDATE. I have updated my review to a 4 star because customer service took the time to reach out to me which was most appreciated.

A good friend of mine lost her sweet gal Pennie after 12 years who was her dog soulmate. We live in different states, but I still wanted to send my friend a thoughtful gift to help with the loss. My friend said the quality is very good, nice solid frame, and she put her favorite photo of Pennie with it. It now sits next to Pennie’s ashes on the mantel of her home. I will be buying this again for friends who lose beloved pets.

This is a beautiful picture frame. Exactly as the picture. I feel the 4x6 pic is a bit too big for it, but otherwise it shows off my little girl I lost beautifully â¤ï¸
