I ordered this set for the whistle and the whistle has a loud noise I wasn’t expecting. All in all not bad just not what I needed

The clicker is fine but got it more for the whistle. Should’ve trusted the other reviews. Maybe dogs hear it? It’s not ultrasonic. Just weak.

What's to say? the clicker makes a loud clicking sound the whistle makes a whistle sound.Tuning of a whistle is in my opinion kind of a gimmick. Dogs don't instinctually know what a whistle means. While they may be more sensitive to some frequencies any loud/abrupt sound can get their attention and they can be trained to respond to it. Same with the clicker. My older dog was trained to come when she hears a whistle, and that the click means she did what I wanted (and will get a treat), but we have not practiced it for a few years. I picked up this set to train a new rescue and refresh the training for my older dog. Both items work fine and despite being a different sound than I had used before, my older dog responded with no problems. FYI they both respond just as well to the "Silent" whistle I have.Only thing about the set I am not fond of is the curly lanyard. I find they are more of a nuisance than anything and is easily tangled. I knew I was not going to like that when I ordered it, but wanted a 2nd set I could keep in my pocket for when I don't want to use the set I have on a lanyard for around my neck.

The dogs respond well to the sound of the click. The whistle doesn't do anything to the dogs but make them turn their head sideways. LolThe clicker has helped in training. I only have to snap my fingers, and the correct action is done by the boys.

Gave it a two star because everything was in the package and everything worked. But the whistle is just a whistle you ca change frequencies, but not high enough to be a dog whistle.

These products are great, I use them at my job which requires handling all different sizes of dogs. I use the whistle to brake up potential fights and the clicker to have the dogs follow me in the direction I want them to go. Even though I have not trained them with any commands they seem to understand where or what I need them to do.
