My 15 year old cat is not a fan of closed spaces. But after playing with her around the carrier and her getting in and out of it with the help of some catnip, she now claimed it as her own.Is very well made and the cushion is pretty good. I can’t say I have any complaints about it.

I like the carrier very much. My doggy is okay with it as long as I'm present, not so much when I leave - bounces right out. (Using only a simple dog collar connected to the bag leash clip would be very dangerous, as strangulation would be a serious cause of concern!! Use a dog body harness ONLY with this carrier!!) So, being able to zip her up securely & still allow her needed air & room to move is great ...for short periods of time, of course. The shipment was missing the shoulder strap, but AMAZON is the greatest as they took care of it!!

The carrier is great because it meets in cabin flying regulations and the expansion allows my cat lots of room on those long international flights.BUT there are a few big issues that make me wish I had gone with another carrier.1) The bottom is flimsy and does not hold its shape on top of my carry-on bag, making it very uncomfortable for my cat. The Delta bottom is much sturdier and did a better job.2) There is no carryon strap to hook a seatbelt through. The delta bag has one that allows you to hook the carrier right on your carry-on making it super quick and easy to attack. This one I have to velcro on to try and keep it in place and it makes it difficult and annoying to undo when getting on the airplane. When driving long periods in the car I'm forced to tie it the carry straps to try and make it safer in the car.3) The pad is filled with cheap foam and I bought a different bed to put inside to make it more insulated and comfortable.

As you'd expect, my little guy was apprehensive about being "zipped up", but he did GREAT on the plane.I think he liked it when I opened the expanded section so he could stretch out a bit and see more around him.The product itself seems quite good. Easy to put my little guy in and carry around with him in it.Of all I looked at, I think tjis was a really good choice. Give it a try!!

LOVE THIS! My cat was terrified of a normal hard sided cat carrier, I bought this soft sided one in the hopes that he would be more curious like he is with all my duffle bags. And much to my excitement he was! The minute I put it on the floor he walked right in and hung out in it for about 20 mins.It seems very well made and very sturdy. I would absolutely buy this again.

My 13 lb cat did not fit in this carrier and was missing features advertised in description. Has a great look to it but just didn't work for me.

I bought this to put my kitten in for when im in class (I don't want to come home to a chewed phone charger) and for when i need to transport him. He honestly doesn't mind it in there! I like that it extends as well, I don't feel as bad about keeping him in there when i have to run out. I deducted a star because I find it weird that the zipper to unzip the material bordering the inside chamber from the extended chamber is on the outside. For example, right now the carrier is on the floor with the outer part extended (as you can see from the picture, the side of the carrier unzips). Normally I would fold it in and zip it up. To prevent the material in the extended part from pushing through to the inside area, you would zip the bordering wall. Well the zipper for the bordering wall is not on the inside of the carrier. So, to put that bordering wall up or down, you would have to unzip the outside part so the chamber extends. Unzip the extended part AND THEN you can reach you hand in the deep left or right corners, find the zipper, and zip the boarder shut. A lot of times I'll zip up the extended part and then reach inside to zip the bordering wall. When I realize that it doesn't work like that i have to unzip and rezip everything all over again. It's annoying.

My cat is having to travel periodically from Alabama to Louisiana for cancer treatments, and travelling with car vibration can be uncomfortable in a basic carryall. This product has been cat tested and my cat approves it 100%.The pop-out side allows her to move as she needs to without feeling stuck or cramped. She was able to stretch out and relax both coming and going, and meowing was minimal--a first! My cat lost weight so the softness of the carrier also added to her comfort plus looking out top and pop-out side made her feel she wasn't so confined--adding to a feeling of ease for her.Amazon's price was better for my budget than the Petmate ad in the cat mag I first saw it in--about 40% less costly.I am very pleased with carrier's materials and hardy construction, as this should last for many years.Cat-tested, cat-approved!

I travel with my PUG (13lbs) all the time. We fly different airlines including American and Air Canada.I'm replacing our old Sherpa carrier with this one.I brought home last night and my dog went in right away (She is use to get in her carrier. She thinks we are traveling when i gar the carrier out)The size is perfect and airline approved. the extension is amazing. I already feel like a better mom because I know that my dog is going to be way more conformable in her carrier, specially during long flights.it has a strong plastic smell. My dog is sensitive to smells and she was sneezing last night. I'm going to let it air out. I'm sure the smell will go away.Ill update my review after our next trip. But I already can tell that this is a big improvement over what we had. Im sure my dog is going to be much comfortable and enjoy the trips more.

The perfect carrier. We've used this on flights and in cars, for both our 14 lb dog and our cat (at separate times). The dimensions pretty much align with Air Canada's requirements (at the time of this review) for soft-sided carry-ons. Our dog gets uncomfortable the less mesh there is, so we open the extended side as often as possible. Often I find there is room to open the extension under the airplane seat as well, if you know your neighbour or if they don't mind (I always ask). The long strap is useful too, for slinging over your shoulder. The zippers are all excellent quality as well. Very happy with this carrier!

This carrier was the perfect size for my 10 lbs morkie. It's completely collapsible when not in use, has multiple entries including the top, and has an extender where the side opens up giving our dog more room. Would recommend to anyone looking for a travel carrier.

I love it the only thing about it is that there are no straps for the car as it was advertised
