It’s heavy because it’s metal. I use these to hook my doggies together from the front hooks of their harness. I’ve taken them on runs, long walks. It’s perfect! It’s definitely a solid item. Easy to use, the hooks aren’t chunky but they have great distance between each other. I think it’s comfortable and easy to control. I’m 5ft and my dogs love to walk behind me, with this chain I can easily jump over and readjust them. Worth the purchase.

I Have two Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies which will end of being 100 pounds each. This tether leash is very helpful walking two strong puppies. I would like this product even more if it was a heavier gauge metal. The product is well made and very useful. I am just thinking ahead to the time they are full grown.

This is a strong and effective coupler. I also like the length, works well for 2 medium sized dogs. The metal does show fading and wear after 1 month.

We have 2 very active large breed puppies and trying to walk them on separate leashes was impossible. They each take off in different directions and your arms can only go so far, right? We tried a leather and also a heavy-duty fabric 2-way dog lead -and the pups tore them apart in a flash. This metal chain is exactly what we needed -puppy chew proof! It's lightweight, yet strong enough to be comfortable for both the pups and me, the dog walker. Easy to connect the leashes to the 2-way lead. Excellent product!

It's okay but it's not solid it feels like there's a big chance it will break somehow . It feels like a mix between metal and hard plastic

I will start off by saying I am a professional dog trainer and my two dogs already have a "perfect" heel. I mention this because I use leash/couplers as a formality when we go out in public to not violate the leash law as they could walk just fine without their leash/coupler on. So if you have two dogs that know heel and you don't have to put any tension on this leash it's a good buy. I cannot speak much to the strength of this coupler if your dog pulls. I do like the size of this chain, I did get the smaller size and I let my dogs walk out in front of me with no commands and it can withstand a 40lbs and a 45lbs dog both putting some pressure on the leash. Again I'm not sure if I'm the best one to test this coupler because my dogs no longer pull.

Best tool to walk our big dogs. 60-80 lb dogs use to wonder each their way, it was not pleasant, now they walk just fine one beside the other.

It's very strong but a bit too short. It allows only 12 inches for each dog.

When it said 16 inches I thought that each chain was 16 inches however the whole thing is 16 inches which means the dogs are very very close together. This will be very interesting as I have a hyper dog and slower dog. Let the adventure begin!

I have only had it for a short period of time and it's all rusted around the part where it hooks on. I can barely move it to hook my dogs on. Really disappointed.
