DJINN carabiners have a wide rope contact zone to limit rope drag and provide greater durability for both carabiner and rope. Straight gate carabiners are ideal for clipping bolts and anchors while the design of the bent gate allows the rope to be clipped efficiently. The Keylock system prevents the carabiner from snagging when clipping and unclipping, especially useful when sport climbing on lead. Available in two lengths and two colors. The pack contains 6 DJINN AXESS quickdraws with blue bent gate carabiners.

Aren't all Quickdraws the same? A question I get asked quite often. My answer is it depends. As far as safety, most quickdraws are very well the same be it wire gate or solid gate. Where the differences come in are, weight, how it fits in your hands, and how quickly you can clip into the bolt and clip the rope. In most cases, all quickdraws function well for bolt and rope clips, but the weight can make a significant difference in longer pitches.A pitch with 20 bolts may require you to carry 24 quickdraws on your harness. One for each bolt, and I like to have extras for anchors or even attaching myself to anchor hardware while I am setting the anchor. If the quickdraws are too heavy, it is climbing with all that extra weight (I highly recommend lead climbing at an indoor gym with a weighted vest or belt on). These are fairly light and easy to clip into bolt or a rope into the clip. I do like the Spirit Express from Petzl but they are slightly higher in price. The bent gate on the rope side has a rubber retention mechanism to keep it stable, which makes it easy to clip the rope (clip to bolt and rope to clip time is essential on some sections.) I have larger hands so it helps that the carabiners are larger which makes the clipping process super easy for me. The gate is wide so doing a clove hitch or other anchoring tasks are easier. Replacing a worn carabiner is easy for either the top or bottom of the quickdraw. The quickdraw sling is solid and I have full confidence in climbing with these.Keep in mind these weigh about 4oz each, so when you load up with 24 quickdraws, you are adding 6lbs to your harness, on top of the other things attached like locking/non-locking carabiners, personal anchor system, sling, cordelette, ATC (if you are doing two rope), etc. so be prepared for it. Of course, wire gate quickdraws are lighter, and some hybrid quickdraws (like the BD HotForge Hybrid with a solid gate for the bolt and a wire gate for the rope) are lighter, I'd rather have the functionality of easy clipping to bolt and rope over slightly lighter (4oz vs 3.5oz.). As you ascend, the quickdraw weight reduces as you clip into the bolts, so speed and ease of use beats weight for me.That being said, my favorite is Petzl Spirit Express, then the Petzl Djinn (I have both and use the Djinns first then go to the Spirt Express on my ascents.) They are both extremely large hand friendly and easy to use (bolt/rope clip/unclip), and it's a decent amount cheaper to go with these (Djinn).I may end up with more of these in the future, and definitely will replace my Djinn with another Djinn.Hope that helps.

Use these for linework everyday. It’ll hold a couple spans of 600 accc, hold up comm and cable and use them to tie off on steps on fiberglass poles. They’re worth the money

I've got 2 Quickdraw sets, my first ever to be honest. They're very light if you're making clipping or top rope.I've tried many other Quickdraws before but this ones are great because they've got the specific requirements that I need:- Rubber retainer: That's very important to lock the rope-end ‘biner in position, making the rope easier to clip and preventing the carabiner from shifting and becoming cross-loaded.- Bent-Gate: Tha'ts a sweet spot where the weight of the rope is enough to open the gate. This could make a huge difference when making clip, It saves time and pays off when climbing and clipping as fast as possible.Great product and highly recommended if you're building your first climbing equipement.

Really smooth, snappy and easy to clip/un-clip. Doesn't swivel like DB and just really hardy. Too heavy for trad but I love for sport climbing!
