Great swivel, as it should be for the price. I used it to shorten up the linkages in some gym equipment, as well as relieving tension from the cable while in use (preventing weights from spinning). I think the gates themselves are just shy of .5" when open.

Genius product. I contemplated other swivels for arborist work, but you need a biner or a quick-link on each end with other swivels. This puts your attachment point way too high. Being able to take apart this swivel makes things super compact. I put a small rigging plate on another end, and the other end right directly onto my harness. Tree work is super fun now that things don't tangle up and I can spin around whenever I want.

Works mighty fine! I’ve been using it while I climb n I gotta say I don’t have to untangle with every movement I make. It’s also solid! I haven’t given it one second thought if it was gonna hold me or not.

I love that I can latch this swivel directly on to whatever I want. It save a lot of space which I love. It's obviously not going to be as quick of a removal as a carabiner but it saved some space

I bought this for my aerial hoop and it’s perfect for my space limitations! It eliminates the need for two carabiners and I still get my spin!

I bought this for aerial to save space. It doesn't turn as easily as my last swivel. Also, it's not a symmetrical shape, the a-frame doesn't sit nicely in the top ring, and the dance hammock doesn't sit nicely in the bottom ring. It has a lean to it.I plan to sell mine used on eBay for about half price and recover ... some of the money.

Sicuramente ottimo come dispositivo di sicurezza, ma date certe recensioni mi aspettavo che girasse in maniera fluida (ho uno swivel dello stesso marchio di tipo base che gira molto meglio) invece è più difficile da tenere lo spin (lo utilizzo per la danza aerea). Per il resto è perfetto

Wer einen zuverlässigen und kurz bauenden, leicht drehenden Drehverbindungspunkt braucht, und nicht die Kombination Karabiner, Wirbel, Karabiner einbauen kann und aus guten Gründen auch nicht will (3 einzelne Element die individuell versagen können), ist mit dieser Verbindung ideal dabei. Habe lang nach einem vergleichbaren Element gesucht, aber nichts gefunden. Selbst die Verschluss-Schrauben sind mit einer Sicherung gegen unbeabsichtigtes Öffnen ausgestattet!Ja es ist ein sehr spezielles Teil mit hohem Preis. aber nur wenn man vergisst, dass die Alternative mit Kugellagern auch erst ab ca. 65 € (2x10 € Karabiner plus 45 € Wirbel) zu haben ist und dabei fast 20 cm länger baut!Fazit: Wer es kurz und super sicher braucht ist hier super bedient.

Habe es als Gate für meine Kletterutensilen beigefügt. Es besticht in Typischer Petzl Qualität. Jede Seite ist mit einem Imbusschlüssel aufschraubar und es passen bis zu drei Karabiner in je der beiden Ösen. Das Gelenk ist super leichtgängig und ganze Swivel besticht mit seiner Hervorragend Qualität der Verarbeitung.
