Very happy with this product, after a trial run you can put these on or take the in about a minute and a half flat per tire after getting used to the idea of the red ratcheting mechanism. Got them for my civic and they allowed me to travel ice covered hilly roads in my area with no problem. An excellent product I would definitely recommend to a friend.

This uses a brilliant method for chain tightening (a tiny pulley/rachet mechanism) to ensure you don't have loose chains that tear up your car. It's also a little complicated to understand at first so be sure you put these on (and take them off) several times as practice before you try it on a cold snowy road... I practiced only once so it took me a good 15 min to re-read the instructions and get them on which sucked in the middle of a snow storm. They worked well though, I couldn't make it up an snowy/icy mountain pass in my Acura TSX without them.

I bought a Pewag snow chain for my Tesla and loved the quality. I also ordered an RS 80 for my Jeep per Pewag's recommendation but it was too big for my tires. Then, they recommended an RS 77 which I received and tried to install but it is too small as shown on the photo. Now, I have two sets that I cannot use and the shipping charges from California to England are above $100 each. Obviously not worth it because the chains cost less than that. Amazon will not reimburse me until their store in England receives the merchandise. I'm done!

I purchased & tested both 'Pewag RS 77' and 'König XG-12 PRO 235'.König chains outperformed Pewag in show and ice. Also, König chains are thicker and more heavy duty.I returned the Pewag chains.

These chains are very well made however the Amazon website said they would fit my wife's 2014 ford focus titanium as long as they are equipped with stock 215 50 17 tires which it is. Received the chains and they are easy to install but they did not come close to fitting.What irritates me is I was charged to return the chains after Amazon said they would fit.

These are the first snow chains I have ever owned. I chose them because they scored high in an ADAC test.I'm not particularly good with mechanical things, but I was still able to install them -- almost correctly, in under an hour. I imagine it will be easier next time.The instructions provided are fair -- they tell you what to do, but they fail to point out important details (what to watch out for, what NOT to do, how to go about doing what you should). If you're a beginner like me, you'll miss these details too.The instructions are provided on a sheaf of waterproof material, which is thoughtful.Some little red plastic things (that are hopefully only for decoration) broke off relatively early, but the chains still worked.Of course, driving in the snow with these on was incomparably better than without them (I wouldn't even have been able to leave my parking space without the chains). When braking, they can be life-savers (and collateral-savers as well, which isn't something to be sneezed at).Removing the chains was somewhat easier than installing them, but not much. It's difficult to do complicated things with cramped, freezing fingers while kneeling in the cold, wet snow.Since I have no experience with other snow chains, I really can't say how these perform relative to the competition.

Très certainement les meilleures chaines du marché du fabriquant autrichien dont le savoir faire et la qualité des produits n'est plus a démontrer..Et faciles a poser et a déposer.Efficaces sur routes bien enneigées et silencieuses grâce au système de tension automatique et aux maillons de 9 mm.

Très facile à mettre et à enlever. Dans la neige, il m'a pris environ 1-2 minutes à mettre chaque chaine et qq secondes pour les enlever (j'ai même roulé par erreur sur une des boites auto-tension et ça a résister facilement au poid de la voiture).Le système auto-tension marche parfaitement et nécessite aucune intervention après.De plus à un prix imbattable!
