These are the sturdiest, most well-made umbrellas I've ever seen for the price, and if I lived somewhere with more extreme weather I would have kept these in spite of a couple of issues for me: they are bigger and heavier than I want to deal with, and they are difficult for me (a senior) to close. The automatic spring opener is very strong/tight, so they open with a great deal of force and close about 2/3 of the way at the push of a button, but it takes some strength to close it the rest of the way by hand. If I were like my grandsons, who walk to school and work in difficult weather during parts of the year, this would be the umbrella for me--but it's a bit too heavy-duty for their grandma! Quick and easy return.

Great feature: Pushing the same button to close the umbrella. Extremely helpful if you are carrying something else in the other hand.My only concern is that the springs use to open the umbrella are really strong. Hoping that the frame can handle them.

Very nice quality umbrellas. They both fit very nicely in the front and back door panels of my vehicle, which is the main reason I purchased them. So when the ladies are in the back seat of the car, they have their own umbrella.

I did not have a need to use this umbrella until today which is almost a year since purchasing it at Amazon. I strongly suggest you try the umbrella before stowing it in your car or somewhere you may not need to use it for some time.
