I ordered this trim for sewing handbags, but I haven’t yet started those projects . Looks like real leather. I’m really happy with the quality .I can’t wait to get my projects completed and will post an update when I do.

thou, it is faux leather, they came folded up and in a flat clear box . so very wrinkled and there is no way you can take an iron to them. so now all I can do is just hang them and hope they all straighten out in time, which means I cannot use them for God knows how long until then. so such a waste of my money.....

so I bought one of this for a handbag I'm making. The tape worked really well. It is not real leather but I couldn't find any so I settle for this. I think met sewing machine put too much pressure at one point and you can see a stress point in the bias tape. Anyway, I needed more of the light brown color and in my original order it was a dark caramel color which was exactly what I wanted. However, in the second order the light brown was closer to the original photo in the listing. So I just wish that the colors matched in every order because I need more and now they don't match. Hoping they will in the replacement.

This comes with one strip of each of the four colors - I got this for cosplay use for straps, and was really pleased to find it was all one piece (I did not have the mid-piece cut the other reviewer reported) so I'd have less end-of-length waste. Sturdy PU leather with a nicely folded edge on either side. Will buy again.

This trim is thin, and easy to sew! If you are using a machine, make sure to have a nylon foot or put a little bit of scotch tape on your foot otherwise it will catch on this material

Overall, it’s a pretty good product! There are two things that decrease the value for me. 1: sections are taped together (see photos) where presumably the factory lengths were joined. I feel like I’m losing out on product when it’s not cut continuously. 2: the edges stick (likely due to the material itself) which makes it annoying to peel and unfold, but not impossible to use.
