Just set up this umbrella so I can’t say yet how durable it will be but it’s the perfect size for an 8 seat rectangular table! Looks great. Doesn’t feel cheap although the fabric is a thinner material. My only concern is the cover for the base. I can see that ripping very easily with people’s feet on there so my husband is going to build a wooden box that goes over it. But all In all - a great umbrella and exactly what I was looking for.

These are nice for what they are. Good wide coverage. Unfortunatley they do not last more than 2 seasons. You really have to take them down if the wind forcasts more taht 12-15mph. They don't do well with suddenly rain showers that are kind of heavy. even with taking care of those things, the steel of the arms rusts out after two years, bends and then snaps. I have gone through three of them in three years. I am just waiting until planted trees get big enough to provide the needed shade so I keep reordering - but be warned they do not last.

Summer will coming and it’s nice to have it to get prepared for the great summer time. The instructions are super simple and easy to understand. It’s easy to put together, can be opened and closed easily, and you can adjust the height. It’s the best umbrella I have ever purchased for my yard. Great Quality, all materials from pole to base to umbrella are solid good quality. The shade is awesome because it’s such a large area. The base stays in place and is very sturdy. It has great rain protection. It is a good value.It’s definitely worth buying.

My good friend recently bought a house with a large yard. I bought this parasol as a gift for him. He said it was really great and he really needed an outdoor umbrella so that he could sit in the yard with his family or friends and drink coffee and chat without being exposed to the sun. This umbrella is very easy to install. When the umbrella is fully opened, it has a large area. The base needs to be weighted with sandbags to prevent it from being blown down by the wind. The weather in California is sunny most of the time, and there is not much wind and rain. Even if it is windy and rainy, don't worry, the umbrella can be easily folded and put away. I am very happy that my friend is very satisfied with this gift!

To be clear, the base is stable when you fill with 135-150 lbs of sand, but the frame itself slides together on a "track". Unfortunately, the track does not have a bottom 'stopper' so it will slide completely off the corners if not sitting flat. Again, 99% of the time it is sitting flat, but if I had to pick up the base to move it, it will likely come part and have to be 're-slotted'.The umbrella is large (as advertised and looks good when expanded. The lever assembly seems sturdy/well made. Ive had it for one month, so the jury is out on how long it will last. I took the precautionary measures to use WD-40 on the screws that hold the umbrella in place, as I could quickly see some corrosion on the screws. And like most umbrellas, those screws will scratch the pole wihen tightening it down. I put WD-40 on that contact point as well, just to protect it.Overall, a good value for the price I paid.
