I am thankful for Philips capitalizing on the work that Davy, Edison etc. contributed to the invention and development of the light bulb as we know it. As result of this collaboration I was able to bring light to my stove top. This allowed me to see in detail how quickly I am capable of ruining a one-pot recipe. The light is easy to install, bright enough and lasts as long as the electricity is stable. I had to replace the bulbs a few times, but this is thanks to the price we pay for living on an island where there are constant power spikes and shortages, which obviously impacts on the lifespan of bulbs.

For those with inexperience:My car is an early 2000's, and has a double contact prong in the light bulb socket. Don't worry if your contacts are oval shaped. Just be sure to twist the small knobs to lock the bulb in place. The round contacts will work just fine. The light brightness is better than the factory bulb in my opinion.
