I bought one of these a while back and installed it in the kitchen. It was perfect! Used it with no problems for ~year. When we sold the house, we left the unit behind and I purchased a second for our new house. After installation (oops) I realized that none of the buttons on the unit worked. The remote worked fine so we dealt with it. However, now the whole thing is on the fritz. I just called customer service and am hoping for satisfaction, but although I just installed it, it was purchased 8 months ago, so I'm probably out the $. If you buy this, test it first and test it fast!UPDATE: Phillips sent me a brand new (upgraded) unit which works perfectly.

This item arrived defective. The item has a non-operating digit in the display. The packaging was not adequate for a fragile item to be mailed in.

Everything on the unit works well except the digital display. The display lights up but shows no information. With that, there is no way to use the radio, clock, or timer functions. I will be returning this unit for replacement. Installation, mounting, and manual were understandable and straight forward. Mounting template was accurate. Includes manuals and templates in 3 languages. Includes all hardware needed for installation, batteries for the remote, and extension mounts for cabinets with a non-flush cabinet bottom. Does not include RG-6 COAX or RGB cables. Does include FM antenna. Has one 90deg RG-6 adaptor for sharp turns. Unit is silver.

We remodeled our kitchen about six months ago but still have a small kitchen with minimal countertop space, so we bought this undercabinet TV/DVD/Radio/CD Player and just love it. When I bought it, I had very low expectations for the quality of this device, but it's been pretty good. Unlike other reviewers, I think the LCD picture and audio are just fine. It's really great to have in the kitchen while cooking or doing dishes, or for running to the kitchen to make a snack during the football game and not miss any action. Plus, we can pop in a DVD for the kids and still keep an eye on them. The only complaint I have is that I can't get a very good AM radio signal, but that might just be because the antenna is inside the kitchen cabinet. I have my cable TV hooked up to it, so I can't vouch for the quality of an antenna TV signal. All in all, for what you get, this is a pretty good system, especially for a small kitchen.

It only has a analog TV coax antenna input - not a digital TV , poor AM/FM radio reception, DVD would hang up going in and out sometimes. After having it for 12 yrs, I would not recommend it to a friend.

The features aren't bad on this under-cabinet combo, and it looks fairly attractive. Installation instructions are adequate, with a full-size drilling template provided in multiple languages. But I installed before testing (oops), and then had to send back to the manufacturer for warranty replacement. As soon as the unit was plugged in, it began to beep continuously, as if an alarm clock were going off. The unit does have an integrated kitchen timer, so it seemed that this was stuck on. But nothing would stop the loud beeping. So the manufacturer said to return for replacement, which I did. It took 17 days from their receipt to shipping the replacement (from tracking shipping). Then, I installed the replacement, it seemed to work OK except that the remote would not operate the DVD menus. Most other functions worked on the remote, including Play and Stop, but not the ability to access the DVD menu. Two weeks after installing the replacement, the unit began beeping continuously like the original.Consider another manufacturer's product for better reliability.

We loved this tv/dvd/radio player. It was easy to install, very stylous fitting well in our kitchen. The remote never worked great, but that was okay. Then about 1 year later all of a sudden a loud screeching beeping sound began. It sounded like the alarm clock...the only problem the only way to turn it off was to unplug the unit. After pressing every possible button a thousand times, it miraculously stopped, for a week, and then started again. And this time we could not turn it off. We are sad to say it but have removed this defective device and bought another less attractive system that works. No more Phillips products for us.
