In the picture you can see they are slightly whiter than the stock Xenon bulbs that come in the Porsche 997. Not drastically more white and definitely not at all blue. They retain the full spectrum look of factory bulbs but modernize the look a bit. Only had them for a couple months so I can't comment on the longevity.

I previously tried a Philips D2S (?) bulb, which was cheaper. It had a yellow cast. This bulb is more expensive, but the light is almost pure white. To me, it is worth the extra money.

These headlights definitely have a pale yellow tint and not white at all. The description is wrong and misleading. I expect accuracy and honesty from Philips in their product description, unfortunately i was dissapointed. I'm extremely displeased and furious for wasting money on them, deserves a Zero rating.

I have had these bulbs before , they are great for driving, not so great for on coming cars as these bulbs are quite bright . The 4x4 that I have is old , late 90s old and the 4x4 came out with HID head lights. Philips design . I have tried "other brands" and they just don't perform as well.

Habe mit diesen Brennern meine alten Osram Cool Blue Intense ersetzt. Die Brenner waren 120.000km verbaut, der Austausch war nötig, weil einer angefangen hat zu flackern.Ich bin mit den Philips sehr zufrieden, sie machen ein angenehmes Licht und dieses ist auch sichtbar heller als das alte. Die Prozentangabe würde ich allerdings vorsichtig betrachten. Weiterhin ist zu bedenken, dass auch Xenonbrenner mit der Zeit an Leuchtkraft verlieren. Die schon deutlich wahrnehmbare Verbesserung hat also sicher auch damit zu tun.Die Lichtfarbe unterscheidet sich trotz der 5000k Angabe sichtbar von den CBI. Die Phillips sind reinweiß ohne Gelbstich. Die CBI machen im Vergleich kalteres Licht und treffen zumindest die bei mir verbauten LEDs farblich noch exakter.Zusammenfassung:+Lichtausbeute+Licht bei Regen (deutlich!) besser/ Lichtfarbe im Vergleich zu den Cool Blue Intense- Preis (insbesondere im Verhältnis zu den CBI)
