The listing for this does not say anything about the diameter of the mast - it's about 1". This was plenty stiff for supporting my outdoor WIFI antenna, but the hardware "muffler clamp" that came with the antenna could not go down that small, so I had to find another solution.That said, this mounted easily enough and between rotating the antenna and adjusting the angle of the mast, it was easy to get a strong signal from the repeater 150 ft. away.

Product is well made. Would caution that you determine if you can mount to a 1" diameter. Might neet v jaw block to properly secure.

This is my second Tempest unit. The first, which I had for more than four years; was damaged by hurricane Milton. It was mounted about 4 feet above the ground on a mailbox mount. This time I used the bracket in the photo and mounted it about 15 feet above ground with the Philips j- mount. This mount by Philips was returned to Amazon and I purchased it for a steal ( Assembly of the bracket was very easy; instruction are provided, but use the QR code feature for a nice short video presentation of the procedure. The mount is made of metal with a black flat finish. I would wholeheartedly recommend this mount to anyone who purchases the tempest or other weather station.

Had to do a little modification with my weather center but works great for the price. Easy to install and assemble. Weights practically nothing and like the fact it comes with good mounting bolts.

Little bit smaller than anticipated but still did the job that I was trying to do. It was a little tricky to mount for my application. I had to retro fit it a LITTLE bit for a vertical position but it holds with the screws provided surprisingly well. Although the screws have already rusted in the weather (it is mounted near the water but the water never comes up to it). Could be a little better quality for the cost. The edge of the pipe bent slightly when I dropped it on a wood floor which surprised me.
