When I ordered this box one of the panels came with some slight damage to its coating. Customer service quickly remedied the situation and I was very pleased and satisfied with their resolution.The box was easy to assemble. Please look for the instructions and lay out the screws prior to assembly. You will notice that some are smaller wood screws that will be used for the interior brace that comes with the larger boxes. These smaller wood screws DO NOT need pilot holes. The remaining screws are are much bigger and will be used for the panels which have the pilot holes predrilled.I'm 5'11' and I purchased a different smaller (16x14x12 ) box originally when I wanted to start incorporating step ups in my workouts. The most stable side was the 12 high and I quickly outgrew it. The 16 was about the correct height for me, however I was really worried about stability as the 16 side has the smallest area. So I purchased this 16 x 20 x 24 and I really love it. This box is bigger (both in terms of area and weight) and I don't feel like it's going to topple and I feel much safer while working out.It's also really sturdy. I'm a bigger guy and weigh about 230 and am doing steps up with 30 kg of kettle bells. The box holds up well and I don't feel it deflect or strain.I am very pleased with this purchase in all aspects. The box is well made and serves its purpose well, was easy to assemble, excellent customer service, and value for the amount that was spent.

I went with the 24x20x16 larger size so that step-ups gave me plenty of room to plant my feet. I was immediately impressed with the weight of the box (which arrived 3 days ahead of schedule; hat tip to the seller). Assembly was easy although I had to drill a couple of pilot holes on the ends of the internal reinforcement assembly. Very sturdy and thick laminated wood panels with an attractive honeycomb/carbon fiber style finish. As mentioned in another review, even the internal sides you’ll never see were nicely finished. Once fully assembled the box is heavy in a way that will inspire confidence when using it. When I was done assembling it my daughter commented that this is the exact model that is used in the gym she belongs to in Washington DC. Good to know that it can stand up to club use. It will be perfect on the padded floor of my home gym. Very pleased with this purchase and this price point.

I thought about building one. Easy enough, right?Wrong!!! The pieces interlock very nicely. The fastener holes are countersinked perfectly. The surfaces are textured with anti-slip. All edges are nicely rounded. No splinters. The results are outstanding. For the cost, I could not have purchased A-C plywood and accomplished the same. Add to it the fabrication time. No way I could have even matched the cost.A very good value. Pleased.

Sturdy box. Holes are pre-drilled for easy assembly. Mine came without instructions, so had to go by the pictures to get the direction correct on the wording. Many screws to put in, so take your time. Once assembled, very sturdy (I purchased the smaller box). Quality is good and would recommend over some other boxes that don't the holes pre-drilled. Would not suggest using a power tool as to avoid stripping the hole.

Seems to be and Ok box. I have not used it yet but it was missing 3 screws. I spaced them out to not all be the same side.

This is perfect for our small home gym (would be guest bedroom) We have a Peloton tread and bike in there, so we don't have a ton of extra room. It was super easy to assemble. It is very easy to move around to get all workouts in without having anything in the way. Gives great options for all plyo workouts in a smaller space, and it's super sturdy. Affordable compared to a lot of other ones I looked into. Def recommend!

Normally build things like this myself, but not having any 3/4†plywood that wasn’t oak or maple on hand I figured by the time I went and got a sheet, cut it, assembled it, and finished it I’d be time and money ahead ordering these boxes. Assembly was a breeze and have been very solid.

Great Quality !!! Do not hesitate to buy this product. It took only 15 minutes to assemble with a battery powered drill and a hex-bit. Holes were cleanly drilled and were accurately placed. Even the inside of the box is covered in black laminate.Tip: purchase a bottle of very thin viscosity super glue. After the box is completely build remove one screw. Squirt some super glue into the hole then replace the screw. Do this to all the screws one at a time. The super glue will be absorbed into the wood and will make the wood stronger in that area. This will result in a stronger connection.
