PHILTOP CAT BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM

bought this for my 2013 outback 3.6 r (bumper is trimmed to fit quad tips or single exit like this). flange is the only part that really needs to be modified, it needs to be cut and rotated to line up with the stock y pipe flange or just use a repair flange and nothing needs to be cut.Bends all lined up, had to make some slight adjustments so it didnt rub on the LCA.welds, pipe and muffler are all good quality.it is loud (turbo car would be quieter), silencer doesnt fit too well in the muffler, its a little too small. its very deep and lots of bass.adding a resonator into the midpipe wouldnt be a bad idea.its also not a true 3 inch ID exhaust. its just shy of 3, 2.8 if i remember right. not an issue on my end since it helps with clearance.overall you cant beat the price, even if you throw on another muffler or add a resonator, youre still way under the price any name brand exhaust. compared to buying all the pipe, muffler, hangers, and spend the time welding it all up, its a great deal.

I bought for a Tacoma. The exhaust didn’t match stock. It fits fine on the underside, but comes up short of making it to the exterior on the side like stock. It stops short so the exhaust is coming out under the bed and not at the side. It’s like it’s designed to have a tip added maybe?

This bolted on in literally 1 minute and looks great. Holds on to my exhaust pipe very secure.
