The pole is great. It screws together and you can make it shorter if needed. Plastic rings worked with no wrapped flag for about 3 months. Upper ring failed requiring me to buy another set of rings.

.....and love the hanging options! Fit our LIONS flag, which is smaller than a normal flag. But with the extension, we can use it to hang our US flag as well.

I bought this in May 24 and was initially really happy. Unfortunately, the flag would often get wrapped around the pole but would unwrap itself within a few hours. I wasn't too worried about it because it would correct itself. In Dec. 24, the pole broke only after 7 months of use. Even if the pole hadn't broken, the little metal brackets that connected the flag to the pole would have rusted through.

My flag rings broke and now I don't have a flag pole I had to order a new flag rings that were stainless steel
