I wanted to add an outdoor shower connection to our Grand Design Imagine 2800BH in place of the spray port in the back near the outdoor kitchen. We have a couple of kids, and sometimes they get dirty, sandy, or muddy while they're out playing. Having a shower connection back there lets us hose 'em down before they track all that stuff into the camper. (Mostly their feet... but sometimes we need a full shower). The old spray port was only cold water, and I'd like to make sure the kiddos are as comfortable as possible while I'm enforcing our cleanliness rules so this allows me to adjust the temperature.Seriously though, this was very simple to install. If you're handy and don't shy away from cutting holes in your camper (I recommend a vibrating multi-tool) then this is a slam-dunk mod that I did in just an hour or so. In our RV the water heater is literally right behind the spray port, so removing the port, cutting the right size hole, and plumping the hot and cold water was very simple. It looks great from the outside... just like it was meant to be there.Looking forward to years of hosing off the kiddos.

This was one of my best additions for quick easy access for hand washing and dinner clean up. Not sure why the manufacturers don’t install this.I set a small table and bus tub to collect the water just because.This is a Cougar 368 MBI. I had to cut a small portion of the frame to install it but I’m not concern.

About what you expect for camper parts. You can’t see in the pictures but it has a simple twist lock. A key would be nice if your externally mounting.

Well, finally got around to finishing the plumbing in rv. Tested it this afternoon to discover that the faucet does not turn off.I have a shower i hooked up to this, and it will not turn off.If i open the valves the pressure does increase, yet, it will not shut off. it does more than drip, with both the hot and the cold turned off, about 35% pressure still remains. Not Good!Is this issue repairable, or is it a loss?Two stars because this is not okay. If company is able to remedy this, i will raise it to four stars, maybe five.If they cannot or will not , i will lower it to a single star.
