I have some wire shelving with casters that I wanted to (a) not sink into my cork floors and (b) be able to push around. The casters roll right off a flat felt furniture pad, but these lipped furniture pads allow me to carefully slide them around.

I put these under a spinet piano on a hard wood floor. They will slide with a little bit of effort so they are perfect for this application.

These look nice and they save my hardwood floor from the weight of the piano wheels. I have an 1890's upright heavier than a modern piano so they did not slide easily to move it. I have to put larger plastic sliders under these to move but they held the wheel in place.

These are very nice solid oak wood that matches my oak wood floors and look lovely sitting under my baby grand piano. Good quality and great price. I wouldn't put my baby grand on any cheap plastic.
