I love these PICA DRY mechanical pencils! After having bought and then returned a set of the Hi-boom mechanical pencils. I finally ordered what I should have known to be the only mechanical pencil I would need.The feel of this pencil is quite a bit heavier than the alternatives, additionally the PICA DRY pencils clip case is super sturdy. The carrier even feels substantial, so does the body of the pencil. With its long steel tip for marking through deep holes being the shining exemplar of this kind of pencil.This pencil advances the lead only 2mm per click on the to button. Which means you'll go through less lead with each click, and you'll also know precisely how much lead you're using. The built in sharpener on the clip body works very well with little waste of lead when sharpening it to a needle like point. The shavings are almost as fine as the chocolate curls one might find on a dessert. Please don't eat the lead shavings.The company has made a couple of minor revisions to the original design of this pencil. The original pencil had two little nubs to act as locking points when it was holstered. The new version, has a solid ring around the barrel in the same spot, which act as a dust and water blocker to keep the barrel of the pencil clean and dry during use in most environments.If you don't like the flimsy feel of the other brands of mechanical pencils on the market, then this is the pencil for you! This pencil feel substantial, but, not so much as to be problematic. You won't get tired when carrying it around with you, but, you may get irritated when you got to reach for it and it isn't there to be used.I liked this pencil so much based upon the original design, that when I saw the two pack offering of this pencil, I picked it up immediately! I’ve used many mechanical pencils for carpentry and welding work over the years and none have really caught my interest. The Pica is very good. The holder stays attached to your pocket or tool pouch, so using the pencil is easy. The sharpener on the holder works great. It marks on wet wood. The graphites hold up well and don’t break. I’m very happy with this pencil and would recommend this for trade workers.

So easy to holster this pencil in and out of its holster. The different types of leads are nice, I actually use one pencil per lead for various trades. The white is ok for steel layout but not perfect. The soft lead is great for everyday stuff and the hard lead is awesome for a long lasting lead. Overall these are the best construction mechanical pencils I’ve ever used. The built in sharpener is a plus when you need to do precision marking and layout.

It’s a mechanical pencil, it does what those things do. HOWEVER, it’s got a reasonably long “snout†covering the lead, so it’s far easier to make markings into holes where there’s a bit of a gap to reach through. The “holster†has a somewhat triangular profile, so it won’t go rolling all over creation when the surface isn’t level. (To be honest, I wish the pencil itself was a bit more triangular, though to make it so might well effect the comfort of the grip.) Very much appreciate the many colors of waxy lead available and the sharpener in the holster as well. A bit pricey, but worth it — this pair is probably my 5th and 6th.

Very easy to use. Fits nicely into the pocket and won’t fall out of the holder. Lead marks a nice crisp line without breaking and the pencil can hold 2.8 mm colored refills. This is handy when marking surfaces other than wood, like Sheetmetal, Leather or Glass.I purchased two, so I can have one with standard lead and one with yellow or orange lead.

Antes de comprarlo revisé varios comentarios y endedores y, la mayor "queja" era que en la publicación ponian un modelo y recibÃan otro (mismo producto, misma calidad, misma funcionalidad, solo disitnto modelo), asà que me decidà a comprarlo y recibà justo lo que estaba publicado, estoy 100% satisfecho, el precio fue inmejorable y bueno, la marca alemana Pica por sà sola ya es una garantÃa!!! Adicional a que lo recibà antes de esperado, el seguimiento a la entrega fue impecable.
