Got this to hopefully help with my constant skin picking. it's very satisfying to pick the beads out and it's very soothing to just squish and bend around. wish it was reusable though. it's only been a few days but i have noticed i feel less compelled to pick my skin if I have this nearby to satisfy the urge.

I actually bought this for myself (female adult) because I have a tendency to pick at my cuticles while I'm watching TV. I thought this might fulfill my need to "pick" without doing as much damage to my fingers. I like that it's got little things embedded that I can pick. I've only tried it once, but I'm hopeful it will divert my picking in the long term.

I misunderstood the point of this product. I was under the impression that it was a silicone like base that had beads embedded in it so that it would give the sensation of skin/nail picking. I guess it’s purposefully made so the beads will come out once picked at. I went back and watched the video which shows the beads coming out plainly. I guess I will be watching the videos more often now. For adults with skin picking impulses, this product will probably work well. I bought this for my three year old to use in the car because that’s where she picks at her face and her nails the most. This obviously will not work for that purpose. Even though I know she could use it sitting down and supervised, I’m not spending 8 dollars every week for a new one just for her to make a mess when she uses it.

This was a delightful time just as something to fidget with while listening to podcasts. You really have to dig in for some of these pieces. By the end of it, which took me about a few hours or on and off picking, my index finger was a little sore under the nail lol. But that’s because I could hardly stop.

This is such a great way to try and replace some behavior. If you suffer from nail biting or just overall picking in general, this may be for you! This allows you to still pick, just not your skin. You can get that urge out with out destroying the skin and its a win win. Its also good for a fidget toy or for a sensory need. They all apply!

While the idea of this fidget toy is a little different than most, it has lots of beads inside of different shapes that can be picked and pulled out, it does cause an issue when these bits are removed or fall out after just a small amount of use. I wouldn’t recommend using this with pets or small children around.If you’re fine with the mess and like to pick then this rubbery feeling pineapple toy is fine and may suit you.

These picky pads are great for anyone who, like me, has a habit of picking at their skin or fiddling with their hands.The beads are packed nicely with a lot to pick out and it's very satisfying to do.It's compact and portable so you can take it on the bus or wherever you might need something for your hands to do.I'm not sure about this products reusability. Some picky pads can be remelted in the microwave but I haven't tested that out yet.4*

I mean I now get why these things are so addictive I just need to pick at it. I just can't stop and I need to get all beads out of it I won't be able to leave it till they are all out but it's so messy. You need a good size tub under it to catch the beads and the little bits of glue gets everywhere.
