We've used this picnic basket several times when visiting national parks and wineries. The dishes, cutlery, glasses etc are very good and the basket seems very well made. The insulated container keeps things reasonably cool for a few hours (it's not a Yeti cooler, so don't expect it to keep things frozen for days).Because it's sturdy, it's a little bit heavy, but when since we carry it a few hundred yards at most that is not an issue. Having something that will last and uses nice quality materials is worth the little bit of extra effort.Bottom line -we're really happy with it.

I purchased this basket as a retirement gift for my boss. The basket itself seems very sturdy and I love that the dishes and wine glasses are ceramic/glass. I didn't want to give it away. My basket happened to be missing a single knife but the company stayed in contact with me until it was made right. I'm impressed with their level.of customer service.

I did return this after a day. The basket is really large and that would have been all right, but the whole thing with the dishes, etc., was incredibly heavy. I could not imagine adding some food items or a full thermos to the basket. Just too bulky and heavy.

This is a very nice and spacious basket. The basket itself is sturdy and very BIG, even without most of the items in the basket it’s pretty heavy as well, so caution is advised. One negative is that packaging is poor, some of the items— like utensils where falling out of the plastic wrapping. We thought we were missing 2 out of the 4 butter knifes and the corkscrew but were outside the basket in the plastic wrapping. Other than that everything fits into place, the basket closes nicely and it’s well worth the price!

Want to feel as pompous and spiffy as possible when you go out to your favorite picnic spot?? Want to feel the glorious emotion that is superiority?! Look no further! This basket is wonderful. Opening the box unleashes the smell of a rather fine leather (the straps are high quality!) And everything is individually packaged in it's own little box! The fun never ends Ladies and Gents! Great for real picnics and for props! I would even use this simply as home decor! I would give this 100/5 if I could!

This is not a cheap picnic basket. But it arrived poorly packaged. Just the basket inside a shipping box with a plastic bag loosely around it. The leather straps are very thin, so much so they fray. The napkins are useless as they too are already fraying. If you are looking for top quality and willing to pay a fair price for it. This is not a good choice.

Hatte mir für den Preis doch etwas hochwertigeres erwartet. Bei der Anlieferung war der Korb im Karton nicht fixiert, wodurch alles aus dem Korb herausgefallen ist. Ob dabei auch die Kette ausgerissen ist, kann ich nicht sagen, jedoch vorstellen. Rücksendung ist nicht kostenfrei (90 Euro!!!!!!!!!)!

! I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't missing one of the 4 knives :( the detail is beautiful, exquisite almost . Would make an amazing wedding gift My 3-year-old is in awe she loves it ! I got it for us as a gift from the Easter bunny her little eyes started glowing as soon as she seen it , Might even be a family heirloom one day also lighter than I expected reminds me of little red going to grandmas house Perfect for a person who has everything :) also i wasn't too sure when i purchased but the blanket is attached with straps to the side not meant to go in the basket but it's adorable
