I wasn’t sure what to expect when I received, but wasn’t expecting such a high quality item. Ordered the Navy (classic) for my niece. The workmanship is excellent, zippers are sturdy, provided items (dishes, flatware) are quality. Looks Waaaaaay more expensive than what I paid. She spends a lot of time outdoors and this was an excellent piece to bring to the beach, on a picnic or out on a boat. Will not kid you, considering ordering one for me too.

The price is very good for the item. It has a lot of room. The 3 compartments are insulated and separate so that you can put hot or cold food and beverages in to stay at the right temperature. The blanket has backing so that it won't get wet or dirty. The silverware and plastic plates match. The only negitive comment is that the wine glasses are plastic and will probably break easily. I replaced them a set of glass which is my preference.The bag itself looks durable, but time will tell. It might be nice to include a plastic bag for the blanket. I plan on using it for a variety of events, but to start with I am taking it on a cruise to hold champagne and caviar for our 1st night on the boat. I don't plan on letting it get wet but I think it will withstand a shower.

My nephew and his wife post pictures of the hikes and walks they take through the woods all the time. I picked this up as a Christmas gift for them. They were so excited!They said it was absolutely perfect because of the number of times they wished they had brought a picnic but would laugh about how difficult it would have been to carry the basket up through the woods.

We have used this for several picnics in the past year, usually two of us but once four people, and are delighted with it. The sizing and layout are well thought-through and I find it comfortable to wear on my back when we're biking on our local trail. The big mat is really practical, the plates and glasses are tough, and the whole ensemble seems well made. It's so nice not to be using trashy disposable plates etc.

I love the top insulated section and the big insulated section. I love the picnic blanket with a waterproof backing. I love the little plates, utensils, reusable napkins but not sure the plastic cups will last - could get crushed. I love the backpack contempt and how rugged it seems.
