He was said to have been remarkably unclever, but prone to miraculous levitation and intense ecstatic visions that left him gaping. In turn, he is recognized as the patron saint of air travelers, aviators, astronauts, people with a mental handicap, test takers, and weak students. He was canonized in the year 1767.

My son is a pilot, I bought it for him. It will give me peace of mind. It’s a beautiful medal, perfect in size. Can fit easily in a wallet! The quality and engraving are most clear! Thank you

Updated: after contacting the company, they sent me a replacement medal, with engravings on both sides, which is exactly what I wanted. They resolved the issue immediately, and I received the new item within a few days. Thank you!I was excited to find this medal, as my son is getting his pilot's license and I wanted something for him to have with him. While the front of the medal is as shown, unfortunately, the rear side of the medal does not have any engraving on it, not the image of airplane nor the text about protecting aviators. I chose this particular medal because it shows those details in the description. Not sure if I missed something in the description about having to order engraving, but I was disappointed upon arrival.
