If you have the space, the 2-pack is the way to go. These matts are amazing! It has definitely helped with the sand mess - probably about 95% less sand all over the house! Quality is great. Easy to dump sand out. Works great!

The cat mat designed to trap litter has some potential, but it didn't fully meet our expectations. While it does help catch some of the litter, it doesn't work as effectively as we hoped. The mat is quite big and bulky, making it a bit of a hassle to place and clean. Additionally, it tends to slide all over the floor, so we had to pin it down to keep it in place. It's not a complete miss, but it could definitely use some improvements to be more user-friendly and efficient.

I bought a two pack after seeing how small these were from other reviewers. It does trap litter and have a pocket that can be emptied. However it does not trap everything. I would say around 50% of the tracking litter gets trapped. Just keep in mind that every litter granule shape is different so it might perform better with a finer litter. My cat was thrown off by the smell of the product but in the description leaflet that came with it, it said the smell disappears within a few days. They’re aesthetically minimalistic to look at which is nice because I’m particular about my living room space. They do come folded so I would suggest possibly bending them the opposite way to help flatten it out a bit and then putting something heavy on top for a few hours. My cat is pretty big (12 lbs) and he’s long. I attached a photo for sizing reference.
