Always produces a tiny spark when the button is pressed with a bit of pressure. No batteries required and doesn't require any flint. But takes several tries to light my gas torch. Not as robust a spark as a flint lighter.

I bought it to use with my camp stove. Was going to buy the MSR version but this was half the price. I took a chance and it works great.

This is a dangerous device for starting fires. It is so short that when the fire was lit the proximity of the flame singed the hair on my hand. I was unable to react fast enough to move my hand from the danger. Although it was able to ignite a propane burner I didn’t feel safe using it. I’ll be going back to a butane lighter with a longer tube which keeps my hand out of danger of getting burned.

I kinda didn't want to like this because it felt cheap out of the box.But in being honest about this review, the simple truth is it lite all three items I tried it on with a 1 click spark. And it probably feels cheap because they are selling it for a cheap price.Nothing more to say about it!

Works well for gas range. Easy to spark, seems reliable/durable, time will tell. Few months in and so far so good...color makes it easy to find on messy counter too.

These have a very small spark. Will barely light a regular lighter if you hold them directly at the nozzle
