This mat is great quality. I have been using it for Pilates in every class for a few months since I got it. I always fold it after each class to put it away in my car, and it hasn’t developed any creases. It’s super soft, almost velvety on top but in an absorbent and not hot way. It gives extra grip while I work out, and on the bottom there is black rubber which holds it secure on the reformer carriage. My studio uses Balanced Body studio reformers for reference, and it fits perfectly with probably an extra inch gap on the bottom and end of the shoulder blocks which is actually totally fine. It covers 99% of the carriage. The blue color is relaxing and chic. I like that this is heavier duty than those microfiber versions. I haven’t washed it yet, only wiped it down and it’s fine. When I wash it, I plan to put it into a special washing machine bag (like you put bras or fragile items) to protect it.

This Pilates mat is pretty heavy duty, slightly heavy in weight but not too much making it difficult to carry just enough that it makes for amazing quality. The weight of it helps in keeping the mat in place including the entire backside is a super durable rubber material. Almost gives you tire rubber vibes but much thinner. I was concerned of slipping on suede like top surface but I used it for the first time and there was absolutely no slipping. It actually aided in staying at the top of the reformer especially when in a bridge pose or while doing pelvic presses. As you can see it’s slightly smaller then my Pilates club reformer but that may be due to them having extra heavy duty equipment. I ordered both the blue and the black leopard because I’m not a fan of either blue or leopard and definitely not a lover of pink lol but I knew this sounded like a good product. Both are subtle in colors so they aren’t hard on the eyes and don’t cause a distractions. They are actually nicer looking colors in person.

This mat looks good and worked perfectly well. It really stays on a reformer. Plus you get a bag :) with it...

The black leopard print is my favorite! It’s a soft suede material on top that absorbs all my sweat. I prefer to sweat on the mat instead of on the reformer especially for studio classes. I never liked seeing my sweat on the carriage and having other people see as well. I tried a lighter colored mat before but I could actually see the sweat marks on the mat which defeated the purpose for me lol. I got a ton of compliments on the black leopard already. I really like to use it at the studio, but have started using it at home too on my home aeropilates reformer. Photo of it on the Merrithew V2max at my studio.

Love my new mat! It fits nicely on the reformer at my local studio. I would rather sweat on my own mat than one of a shared reformer. I have been using the canvas bag to bring my mat and workout gear to class. Highly recommend!

I love the colour, which is the main reason I veered off the other brand of pilates mat that I had purchased and already loved. However this mat is alot thicker and heavier, without any additional functionality. There were also a couple of small dead tiny spiders on the mat, and a live one too.

It’s about 3-4 inches shorter than the carriage of the reformers at the studio I go to and there’s maybe half an inch on the sides of the reformer that’s not covered by this. It’s made of a nice material, holds up in the wash, and even with triple digit weather I never feel my sweat pooling on this. I like it!

I absolutely love this mat but it is too small for the club Pilates reformer. The head rest part doesnt go to the top of the headrest and it’s about 4†shy of the end of the reformer. Over all it needs about 8-10†more length. The width is perfect.The best part about the mat is it has a cooling effect. My body temperature is always on the hotter side so after I get up for a couple minutes and then come back to it, it truly seems to cool my body down. And for that reason ALONE I will keep it. But if definitely needs more length. I would give it 5 stars if it were longer.
