About this item

  • 10 Pack: Suitable for Clarinet, Strength 2.5, box of 10. Decent and more affordable. Packaged in a sealed plastic case to ensure freshness.
  • Natrual Reeds: Bb Clarinets are all made of grown-up natrual reeds, As shown in the picture, there are still some spots on some reed, some professionals specially choose this kind of clarinet reeds, because it means the reeds are grown in sufficient sunlight.
  • Easy to Play: Clarinet Reeds for beginners are made by digital reed-making technology and unfiled cut design, the surface and the top of reed keep a perfect radian, any barbs can not be find in the reeds.
  • Perfect for beginners: It is recommended to soak it before installation and use. The hardness of reeds is 2.5, is suitable for beginners to pronounce smoothly when the breath is small and the mouth control is weak
  • Well Packed: After each use, we recommend washing it gently with water, then absorb the remaining water with paper, put it in a ventilated place and store it in a box.Note:Spots on the reeds don't affect the use at all.

My daughter has been playing Clarinet for 7 years now & these are the only reeds she will use! They fit perfectly & they last awhile!

My daughter is in the middle school band, this is a great part of reeds! For one allows the future musician to have backups in case one is damaged!!

Unfortunately we had to return these. Yes they are cheaper and yes they may work, or half of them may work, BUT the sound is way off which for a beginner is very frustrating. My daughter is playing my clarinet for her first year and I got these cause they were cheaper. You get what you pay for. We just tried each one and she and I (I have played since my 3rd grade year and am now 42) could only get a sound on half, if even, of them. The sound was WAY off, I'm talking several octaves away from what the note should be. We even got a tuner thinking, hey maybe we are just off, NOPE tuner says the same thing we are, way off. We tried each one and then tried some of our RICO reeds we had left, BIG difference in sound quality and ability to make sound. Save yourself the frustration, spend the extra money and get RICO's or similar.

I got my first clarinet when I was in the 4th grade. That was about 68 years ago. Back then, a Rico or Vandoren reed cost about 25 cents. Needless to say, they cost more today, but they are less expensive on a time value of money basis. I got these for my grandson, to whom I just gave my first clarinet. I got him #2 reeds and he was making pretty good sounds within 24 hours of picking the clarinet up for the first time. That is a measure of the quality of the reeds. Great value and fine quality.

I bought these for my 10 year old who just started band this year. I bought these since he went through his others I had bought at the music store. I saw there was 10 versus 3. So far he really likes these. More bang for your buck.

Good product, my fault I should have compared prices. We're expensive compared to other sellers
