Finding myself unemployed again after 6 years, I knew I needed to revamp my portfolio. Never underestimate the tactile experience when it comes to design.I used this to create a new portfolio book and the end result is amazing. I printed on high-quality satin finish paper which really made the colors pop and laid it out like a photographer's coffee table book. And it helped land me an incredible new job. Bought this as a graphic design portfolio for job hunting. I got tons of compliments on my presentation, including this portfolio case. The covers are semi-transparent, so if you have a cover page on the inside with your logo on it, it serves as a nice little teaser of what's in store. It also comes with an additional plastic carrying case that was useful for carrying collateral pieces I'd designed such as magazines and brochures. I recommend this for all graphic designers in need of a hard copy portfolio, but especially those senior graphic design students who will be needing one for their first job hunt. I do suggest purchasing another pack of sheets to go inside, as the ten or so it comes with is not really adequate for a portfolio.

Its a shame because i love Pina Zangaro products. My first portfolio was their metal one and it was really sturdy. The dark binding here is actually more of a lighter grey than dark or even black. The binding is also flimsy, I feel as though if I am not careful, or use it too much it might rip.
