This tray is the perfect shape for a pair of 8" Planters side by side. However, I'm using them on a 14" round glass plant table. As these are ovals, this resulted in having the tray sticking out several inches on either side. A single tray flexed enough that I decided to double them up just to be safe. You have to look very closely to notice so it's not a big deal to me. They would be fine if fully supported.

I like the size that I ordered as I can also use them as pebble trays filled with water to create humidity around my house plants that need that moisture. I use them for repotting small succulents and cactus as well as they keep my soils contained and not all over on my counter. They are very handy and I recommend them to anyone who has an indoor garden, like me! I will be ordering more in the future.
