Been struggling to find a silo feeder that works for a medium sized parrot, as most are designed for budgies, and small animal feeders assume wider cage bars than are found in a bird cage. Took a chance as the dimensions suggested it will fit through the accessory doors for the plastic food cups that come with a bird cage (3 1/4 inch). Mounted easily, fits the space perfectly, no need to cut or bend wires.For a small parrot, the food opening allows for gravity feeding of nuts and larger pellets. I just wish the bowl was half the size to reduce food waste, or filling with debris from shells.My purchase also included the water bottle. This also fits through the accessory door. However, I am less optimistic about the waterer being useful. SItting flat on a counter it holds water, and the bowl fills. However, if I can't mount it a way that it remains level, it will just overflow. It sort of fills the space, but the works when mounted, but gaps between the bowl and the closed accessory door may be big enough for a small bird to get a head caught.Update: Actually, I've decided I really like the waterer. I'm not having any trouble with leaking, and it is a nice compromise between using a water bottle that drips and an open water dish that requires constant cleaning.The feeder bowl is just too big for my intended use. Silo capacity is great, but I just don't want or need so much food available all the time.

It’s awesome, he gets water all the time and can’t spill it. Also the feeder is so big you don’t always have to worry about feeding

Love this works great other then the food doesn’t fall down on its own you kinda need to shake the feeder to release food
