Made a good improvement over my head unit on my 4 6.5 inch speakers. I am using it in a garage stereo setup and I can play it loud for several hours and this amp only gets warm not hot or anything, the way I am using it, and the sound quality is good enough for me. The price is what really makes it hard to beat and it is a Pioneer! IT is a rather large amp this day in age but not too bad. If you are looking for a quality economical 4ch amp this is the ticket. I recommend it.

I have installed three of these. They are great for the average system upgrade. I have used them for pushing front components and rear door speaker or front components and bridging the rear for one sub. Average power is good for average person. If you want more BOOM BOOM spend more for more power.

Bought this amp 3 years ago at the time of writing this. As a teenager, I wanted a better sound system in my super cheap '92 Geo Prizm. This was my option and I don't regret it one bit. I knew Pioneer had built up a great reputation for automotive sound equipment. It was super easy to install once I ran the wire, and it works amazing! Bass, Treble, and sound boosting control tunability is great. Once I dialed it all in, I'm well satisfied with it. 3 years later, still in my Geo today and going strong!

Wired in without a head unit, only using a bluetooth sound adapter which usually cuts some quality. I needed something with 4 channels or enough connections for front and rear speakers + a sub.Wired the sub into channel B as bridged, wired the front speakers to channel "A" left side, rear speakers as channel "A" right side. Then selected "2 channel" because the sub was acting like another speaker. Both ranges come in nicely with the dials!

Installed this in a 2000 jeep wrangler to power two 5.25" and two 6.5". It sends all of them with no problem, and has a better sound quality than my old mtx amp. No cooling issues even with it being placed under the back seat with now air circulation. Eager to see how it does this summer with no ac in the jeep

I can’t even touch this it gets extremely hot, it’s only been 26 days but don’t think it’s gonna last. Plus I will have to pay shipping to return! Paid $42.53 in shipping. Go elsewhere.Update Oct. 6, still no refund!Oct. 10, finally Got a refund, minus 55.00 restocking fee and I had to pay 42$ to ship back!! So out of the 200+ I spent I get $120 bucks back! What a scam!!!

IF YOU WANT CLEAN MID LEVEL SOUND WITH SOME RUMBLE FOR CHEAP TO ADD DEFINITION TO YOU SYSTEM THIS IS A GOOD OPTION, IT'S NOT GOING TO WIN ANY COMPETITIONS WITH DEAFENING BASS BUT SOUNDS GREAT FOR THE PRICE. It's a Class A amplifier, replaced a blown A/B Class. Super clear sound and great gains considering it was a downgrade in Amps. Well worth the money, anything comparable locally was 3X the price.The D-C-O Store is awesome to deal with
