if you have dry wall in house then this is the perfect product to keep as many time we need to hook up something or need to fix the loosen fixture screw. 100% satisfied with the product and working like a charm, just remember that hole size has to be little big to let the unit slide in it easily and then when you screw it, it will grab the wall and give you very strong bond.

Anchors work well but they are a bit large being made of some sort of plastic. Expandable anchors like these work much better than cylindrical push in anchors. A minimum of a 3/8 inch hole is necessary for 0.5 inch drywall. The anchor expands to about 1.5 inches. Anchors close together should be avoided for they will interfere with anchor.

Would give 5 stars if the screws were only 1/4" (6mm) longer. Without passing the screws through any other hardware, the screws will barely contact the anchor thread hole. While turning the screw slowly to start threading, the plastic hole often strips out. This leaves a partially expanded anchor that you will be unable to tighten to lock and likely damage to the wall to attempt to remove. Had to go to the local hardware store to buy longer screws to make these work.

I was really skeptical at first. Worried about it not being firm and wobbling around. Or putting a slightly bigger hole in the wall than I think I needed. But none of that mattered it's firm and tight and installed much easier without the fear of messing up and making an even huger hole.

You can not use an electric drill to tighten the screws, you have to do it by hand and be care full not to over tighten the screw because you well strip the plastic holder. Other than that they work well. I would use only on light projects .
