I've used this brand of acrylic sealer for years and am so glad I can order and get it delivered through Amazon. I have used this sealant for all sorts of crafts, most recently to spray on the fronts and backs of wooden cut-out items I have painted. It dries quickly and protects items, especially for outside use. I do not hang my wooden artwork outside in the elements, but on a covered porch area it works fine. My only caution would be the fumes and smell. I usually spray my items in a garage where the door is open and leave it that way until the items dry. This cuts down on the amount of fumes and smell through the process. So, I would caution you if you have allergies or sinus issues and cannot tolerate fumes and smells of paints, sealers, etc. Other than that one little thing, I would highly recommend this sealant - it does the job, quickly and efficiently!

There are few fixatives on the market for oil pastels. I was using Sennelier but grudgingly because it’s so expensive, especially given that it takes so many coats. I stumbled across this Plaid fixative at Walmart and gave it a try. It works just as well as Sennelier at less than half the price. It also doesn’t smell as noxious. Like Sennelier, it takes just a few minutes for each coat to dry and has a touch of sheen to it, especially when layered. I’d call it a satin finish. I haven’t had any issues with clogging yet. So happy I found this stuff!

This will seal your acrylic paint projects. It dries quickly. You can even use this mid project if you don’t have time to wait for your paint to dry completely, you can spray this and keep painting your details within minutes.

I got this to seal a wedding craft.I use this on everything now!It works on wood, rocks, anything you want to paint. Just spray a coat and rest easy.I painted a rock last summer and sealed it with this spray. It has been outside in the elements for an entire year and the paint still looks like I painted it yesterday.

This product is good as an art fixative. As a lacquer sealant it is not so good. It is probably not supposed to be but I thought it may do both when I tried this product. But that was my misconception of this spray rather than product shortcomings.

I removed the top of this can, and the nozzle inside fell out. It's impossible to put it back in place. Amazon cannot take it back. Avoid the disaster and find something else.

Works great. Sounds strange, perhaps, but I use these on CD and DVD labels that I print directly onto the discs using my inkjet printer. Sometimes the ink, while it may seem fully dry, can still smudge if someone rubs hard enough. This sealer not only makes the discs look more professional, but it stops this smudging problem as well. Great stuff to have around.
