Now that I’m retired, I live in flip-flops, but sometimes those don’t work so well, for example, if I’m dancing. I wanted some thing that would actually stay on my foot, But I also walk a lot and needed some thing with more support and comfort, but I wanted some thing that would look cute and go with my bohemian vibe when I wear maxi dresses, etc. These are perfect.I also found that I could wear them in and out of the water at the waterpark, the chlorine water didn’t seem to do any damage however, I was only in there once. I liked that I didn’t have to change shoes. I wore those shoes on the one and a half mile walk to the waterpark, all through the waterpark, in the water and home. This picture is taken after I got home.I typically wear 8 1/2, I purchased the 8 1/2–9, I would say these true to size.On my foot, the strap is a little loose, I had thought maybe a little too loose at first but they stay in place. I like that the strap is not rubbing on my feet. They are very comfortable.The design is pretty smart, it seems the straps move around and adjust to the shape of your foot I did try another pair of sandals from the same brand with a little different style, but chose to keep these because of the rugged comfortable sole. I like that these are waterproof and plan to wear them on my river hikes.

Wife purchased these sandals based on an influencer's testimonial/video. They are in fact, meeting the review given. The shoes are extremely lightweight, very comfortable, soft to walk in. The braided straps are perfectly positioned and thus far, have not caused any discomfort or rubbing of the toes. They are the perfect transition sandal that can be worn with casual outfits or with a cute dress.

I ordered these thinking they would just be an inexpensive option I would wear occasionally. After trying these on I couldn't believe how comfortable these were right of the box. No breaking them in. I've been wearing them for 2 months & they are still in perfect condition. They go with absolutely anything & I can walk all day in these. Don't let the price fool you. These are every bit as comfortable as my Clark's Cloudsteppers, my Sketchers or my Oofos. In fact these have better support than Oofos. They have a cushiony insole that is supportive & conforms to your foot. I generally have knee pain issues but I barely notice any knee issues when I wear these. The straps are stretchy & don't rub or dig in anywhere. They have an ingenious design that allows you slide the straps to adjust the tightness for perfect fit & comfort. Buy them. Buy them now. These should get 10 stars.

These are pretty comfortable sandals. I got a 6 and the right one seems larger than the left, but I do know my feet aren’t quite equal. It’s workable. If I went smaller, I’m not sure the footbed would be big enough. Immediately on their arrival we went to a multi-day event that required a lot of walking, around 3 miles a day (not a ton, but a good workout for new shoes). I even forgot to pack a spare pair of shoes in case they didn’t work. Well, they never chaffed or caused the least bit of blister, which is pretty amazing. They were mostly comfortable but they do loosen up a bit as you wear them as you would expect leather or cord does. I’m going to try washing them before recommending sizing down, but at this point I might go with a 5 instead. Seems in some shoes I wear a 6 or even a 7 (tennis shoes usually), but maybe in these and Hey Dudes, smaller is better. But, they do seem like decent quality and the straps provide a bit of variety in shape fitting. No blisters is a huge advantage but expect some stretch. Not enough to recommend buying a size below yet, but if you are in between maybe go smaller. As far as structured footbed, there is some. They are not flat and do have areas for support and compression but don’t expect the tight fit something like OOFOOs give (too much for me) or even Keens or Merrill’s. For the money, they are comfortable, cute and worth it.

Update for July 2024I took these shoes down to Charleston, SC area in July.I specifically brought them for traversing one of the wild and inhabited islands. I got these puppies in some deep and muddy low tide coastline shark tooth hunting. They were great. Only downside is the bottom of the shoe has a little too smooth traction for mud. It can hit that mud with the right amount of slick, you’ll be on the ground in a millisecond. I didn’t fall but had a few whoa there moments. Otherwise, they were still phenomenal drying quickly, staying on my feet when I got a little stuck in the mud, and not hurting my feet. I did have to give them a good wash but again super easy.. Now I had to wash I was heading to Morocco and wanted a sandal that I could have as a good walking shoe for versatile weather and terrain. This shoe exceeded my expectations. They were lightweight yet supportive on the sole. I wore them in over a two week span in different landscapes and varying elevation from cobble city streets to dirt paths to the Sahara dessert. I wore them in a light rain shower as walking up to the Spanish mosque in Chefchaouen. One-that path has some good elevation and the sandals were extremely comfortable and I felt sturdy. Second, the shoes dried up pretty quickly after being damp. I did not use them to wade in a river or submerge in water but I got a glimpse of their comfort and quick dry with the rain. They were comfortable for long periods of time and in the heat (80-90 was about the warmest on the trip for early spring). I had them on for 14 hours walking around Fes Medina and sightseeing (leisurely to a city walk pace) I was nervous about potential blisters but the straps didn’t rub against my skin. You also can adjust the fit as needed which was a nice feature. Because I knew they would dry fast, I did wipe them down or rinse them after a day out as the sole picked up dirt in the little crevices of the shoe. So they can get dirty appearance if you don’t clean them off but super easy to wipe off and they do dry pretty quickly. I highlighted a lot about their functionality but they are super cute. The braided strap gives a fashionable appeal as I did wear them on occasion as a dressier sandal for an outfit to dinner. A versatility bonus since I only brought 3 shoes on my trip and allowed me to maximize the different needs and uses. A good shoe for the traveler that wants functionality, versatility, comfort, and a little fashion.

I received my order ahead of time (even when I chose expedited shipping since I have a flight to catch next week).At first I was concerned about sizing since a lot of the complaints I see in the review are how the sandals are not adjustable.To my delight, the sandal fit just right! It was snug enough that I felt like it was secured in place when I have to walk around. I didn’t have issues fitting into the straps! It should be noted that I’m not narrowed feet. I think I have wide feet. Objectively, I might be between medium and wide. I normally wear 6.5 but had no issues with wearing the 7 as recommended.I bought this for an upcoming vacation in Morocco, I’ll be doing a lot of hiking, sightseeing so I’ll post an update once I get some usage during my trip :)I just wish they also offered the sandals with a canvas/jute-like shoe bag similar to the one the plaka palm sandals came with. This is packaged in a resealable bag that you can reuse.

Bought these for a trip to Sri Lanka that involved a lot of hiking and walking and I barely wore the other shoes i took with me because in comparison they felt so heavy!These sandals are so light, cushiony, they're adjustable and the nude colour matches which every outfit and they're also true to size, I'm a size 8-8.5 and size 8 fits perfectly.Only issue i had is when wearing for many hours, the ring around the big toe started hurting my toe (slightly too tight) but I'd slip them off in the car for a break and then it was fine.When i got back home, I washed them and they now look like brand new again and I'm planning to wear them for walks at home since they're so comfy.I highly recommend them 👌

In my late 50s, with bunions, and was inspired by the comfort of my experiment with Plaka Flat Palm Leaf Sandals to buy this pair. The straps would honestly look better on feet without bunions, but I'm primarily concerned about the straps accommodating my bunions and these do that quite well. These are super light! The strap material however seems to be different from those on the Plaka Palm Leaf ones, as these gave my heels blisters on their first outing. That was solved by moving the heel straps to the front (as in my second photo). They were fine after that adjustment, but I hope that I can move the straps back to the heel once they're broken in.
