These sandles are really cute. Although I haven't worn them for any length of time yet, they are comfortable. I don't understand why some reviews state they're hard to get on, I had no problem at all each time I've worn them. Also, true to size..

First let me start by saying these are very cute and I’m keeping them. The soles are very comfortable. As others have mentioned, it takes a little practice to get the braided ropes on and off. For me these ropes are too tight on my feet in a vertical direction, probably because of my high arches. Width and length fit fine, it’s just that upwardly my feet really strain against the ropes. Anyway what I figure is that they’re fine for shorter periods, I just wouldn’t wear them all day or attempt to walk any sort of great length in them.

. Comfy. Sturdy and fit well. The size they sent must have actually been mis marked because it’s not what i ordered yet they fit like the size i ordered. So that was odd. Yet they fit ! They’re cute and fun for the beach or a sundress !

I love these sandals. They are so freaking cute. They fit perfectly if you have a narrow foot. These are not shoes that I could walk around all day in though. After a couple of hours the straps dig into my feet and I already have a fairly narrow foot. The straps are not stretchy and while they are comfortable for a little while, I wouldn’t go to a faire with them - or any place where I’d walk for long periods of time. Even just wearing at the house all day mostly sitting, the straps dig in over time. I wouldn’t purchase these if you have a wide or fat foot. Also these are somewhat difficult to put on. Overall they are the cutest sandal I own. They are not slippery when your foot sweats either. I live in TX where it’s hell 5 months out of the year. I wore them in 100 degree weather and had no slipping at all. I have not tried them in the rain though.

This is my first time trying out Plaka sandals, and I am a convert! Love the deep red! The foot bed, while not "squishy" is thick enough so that it's decently comfortable, and the braided rope is very soft. Though I've worn a size 6 my entire life, I followed the reviews and sized down a full size and the 5 fits me perfectly.

Love the colors, right size and how it looks on my foot, but the sole is wafer thin and doesn’t provide support for all day wear. Not the sandal for me.

I bought these just before vacationing in Central America, because I wanted something that would work for hiking and be dressy enough for formal occasions I planned to attend. I found them to be a bit difficult to put on, especially at first, but comfortable to wear, even when walking all day. They held up very well, and have many more miles left to go. Totally worth the money spent. I chose size 8 based on their size guide and they fit well.

I have now worn these sandals over a few days for several hours.They look really nice when on and they fit my narrow feet. I have received compliments on them.Beware though that because the material has no elasticity, the back strap starts to dig into the back of the ankle. The material is synthetic, and over a period of time has caused my sensitive skin to react. It’s already a bit itchy - but that’s a me problem.I’d say for the money, it’s a good buy, as long as you don’t have sensitive skin.
