This is a nice looking little plant propagation system, solid wood with glass vials, will work best for smaller plant starts.

I noticed that they can machine the drill hole in the wood with a tighter tolerance than they can produce the glass tubes. Some were really tight and that's easily managed with a little sand paper but it could be a little better quality control in this regard. I don't like to feel like I'm forcing glass into an opening. It came with an extra glass tube, either expecting damage or fitment issues or that we'd need it down the road. Went together like a child's play-set. I also wrapped foil on the uppers. Plants send the hormone to root in darkness, and that was an easy to do modification. It'll work great for my basil slips and I expect to get many years of service out of the product.

I love this propagation stand! At first, for whatever reason, I struggled to get some of the glass jars into the stand, worried they weren't going to fit (as other reviews hinted at). But after I put in a little more effort, they all fit perfect! It comes with an extra glass as well, and a little scrubber with a handle to be able to clean out the glasses between uses. I have used this station to propagate several cuttings, can't wait to use it for future cuts. I have gotten several compliments on how nice this propagation stand looks as well.

I have found the functionality to be as expected. I had a concern that mold would grow under the viles since there is a chance of water getting under there, but that has not occurred in the half year I’ve had this and water has definitely come in contact with the wood.The viles fit perfectly and there has been a constant rotation of different cuttings. I actually love that they are slender so that small cuttings can rest on the edges and there is no need to “get creative†with larger jars or containers for small cuttings. I bought one for myself and two for plant lover gifts. Couldn’t be happier!

I gave this as a white elephant gift at work. All the girls in the office loved it ( was fought over a lot) set up was easy and all the tubes fit like they should.
