So easy to use. I iron a sheet of this onto plain fabric (or with design on) first, then use heat erasable pens to draw my applique. Cut it out and follow directions to iron the applique on my item. Its a good adhesive bond AND having said that....Be careful, it's a super adhesive that requires a lot of tedious work to remove from fabric if you make a mistake.

I didn't have any issues using this to turn plain patches into iron-on, but you do have to make sure you're using the right weight patch (thinner/more flexible for the Medium weight, thicker/stiffer patches for the Heavy weight), and although the instructions are semi-vague (or, efficient/concise, maybe), they do make sense. I ended up watching a few YouTube videos to make sure I was doing it right, but they worked well. They came out best when I used a piece of parchment paper (rather than another piece of fabric, as the directions suggest) between the iron and the iron-on paper. I set my iron to the cotton setting (roughly the temp the directions suggest, at least on my iron), and made sure to press it down for a full 15 seconds. Also: make sure that when you're cutting it, the paper part is facing up against the scissor blade (as opposed to the side w the adhesive on it), and make sure to use clean, sharp scissors. As with any product like this, it's all about using it properly to get the best results. (I think I lucked out in places because I definitely was using the wrong technique at first and it still worked alright)

This stuff really sticks and it’s easy to use! I’ve used other similar products in the past but none bond like this. I made a sample then washed and dried it - I couldn’t pull it off and I really tried. It’s perfect for my projects!
