I got this to use for holding test tubes for my aquarium API tests. It works great. There are no instructions but basically, you just slide the racks into the little stands. The backside of the shelves have 2 little clear dots to stop from sliding too far. Once I got the first one on (the bottom rack), the others were easy. I did put a drop of cooking oil on the stand where you slide it on, as they wanted to hang up. And one I had to slide back and forth a few times until it would slide on easily. You just have to remember to put the side without the clear dots (stoopers?) in first. It's not real sturdy, but plenty enough for holding test tubes. Well worth the $6.49 I paid. It is larger than I need, but it will make the process so much easier. I guess if you wanted it a little more sturdy you could put a drop of glue on the stands. But not necessary at all. They hold well, even when carrying empty. I wouldn't carry it full of test tubes.

Liked that this product is lightweight yet sturdy enough to perform its function. Arrived quickly and was easily assembled and in use within minutes. Very pleased with the setup and durability.

The test tube rack works, but it is a little flimsy and is more of a temporary solution. The rack has no instructions and is in a clear plastic bag. The edges are rough, and the rough edges can be caught while assembling the rack.

Pretty simple rack... it does exactly what I need it to do. Price was right. I'll probably buy more as needed.

I ordered the 18.7mm hole size rack after being thrilled with the 18.7mm hole size one that I purchased back in July from the same listing. When this one showed up today the holes are more like 17mm. I can't use it for the intended purpose but I have another purpose I can use it for so I'm keeping it, but please be aware that you might not get the hole size you think you are. It's easy to put together and sturdy - but the one that arrived today is the wrong hole size and now I have to figure out how to get the correct hole size, likely from another source - "fool me once..." and all that.

Like the other reviewers here I needed something to hold the tubes for my API Freshwater Test Kit. I did not like the plastic holder that the API kit shipped in so I set out to find something better. Looking at the pictures for this rack I was not immediately sold as I do not need to hold 50 test tubes, just 6 or 7. Finding nothing better and knowing that others were happy with the fit for the API specific tubes, I took the plunge and ordered it. It arrived last night and put together in about 10 seconds after I discovered that the 3 levels could only insert one way thanks to a little notch that keeps it from sliding through. My mind starting turning after looking at it for a second and I decided it wasn't good enough as is. I took it out to the garage, busted out the dremel and cleared out the entire back two rows to one large opening and then cleared another gap of six holes out in the front on each of the top two panes. This allowed me to then put in all my API test solutions so I could store everything and not just the test tubes. I used a small tube sanding bit on the dremel and after about an hour or two of working on it I was able to get the lines pretty smooth with no sharp edges and it fit everything perfectly. The end result is a bit flimsier than when it started but not enough to concern me at all. If you have a dremel or small multi-tool and you want something like what I described to hold more than just the test tubes, this rack will work perfectly. I will post a picture to the side so anyone can see how it looks.

I was looking for something to hold my essential oil pipettes. Got two of these, gorilla glued the edges, left a heavy book on it for 24hrs and viola! Instant pipette holder. Will order more, as I've pretty much filled up this one lol..Update: so I ended up ordering another two, but I didn't like having two separate holders, so I again used the gorilla glue to glue all four together. Easy Peasy

I bought this to store 2ml vials of perfume samples and it’s perfect. Some of the shorter vials don’t stick out of the top very much but I don’t have any difficulty pulling them out.This product was easy to assemble, took less than 5 mins.

Just want to thank you the stand is really sturdy and nice looking easy to assemble.. so pleased can do my api tests without the test tubes breaking and rolling away!!!

I bought this to hold tubes of seeds beads and it works perfectly! Nice and sturdy and can take apart again if need be
