The only downside to these is that they are thin plastic, so not super sturdy, so I would not risk these in a dishwasher. If you intend to use them for candies of vials of drinks for a party, I'd definitely use a bottle brush to clean these first. But, when you consider how awesome these would be sitting inside some ice in a huge ice bowl at the table at a party, that's not really a downside. Because these are the perfect size to put tons of drink varieties in. Whether it's juice for the kids, or just enough of a party starter for the adults, these are a great size, and they look awesome and unique. These are also a good size for candies for party favor bags or stocking stuffers. They're also great for special seasoning salts. or put in some hot sauces or some salsas for a taco bar.The lids feel pretty secure, but I always store these upright in a box at home. If you plan to do a liquid project, like oil and colored water, these would be great, but I'd glue the lids closed to make sure that they're leak proof. They are perfectly clear. While they did come in a plastic bag, they came with individual sleeves, which was nice. They have tons of uses and they add a lot of fun to parties. I've used these in the past and will continue to use them. They're a cheap way to make tons of stuff that can be used for parties or to store custom gifts, and they take labels well. You can use standard address label stickers to make custom labels for them.

Too large! Not what I expected. May be great for other uses.

At the outset, I would not call these test tubes per se. They are roughly test tube shaped, but have an air of candy or food storage more than science about them -- possibly because of the festive gold lids. the bottoms *are* flat, and the do stand up. Verify the measurements for your use, however, as the item in hand felt larger than in the photo. We were delighted with these, and found ourselves trying to invent uses for them. One tube holds just enough ground coffee for a full pot at our house. They hold liquid well with out leaking, although they have not yet been tested with either denatured or drinking alcohol or other solvents. They are slightly larger (.3 ozs) than allowed on aircraft by the TSA, but a careful measure of shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc. might be okay. (Check if a small amount in a larger container is ok!) Premeasured drink powders for travel (lemonades, Gatorade, protein powders etc.) might be a thing. Small parts ranging from small hardware (bolts and washers and nuts) to beads of all sorts could find a useful home. Collecting small soil or biological samples could occur. With some added decorations as shown on the listing they would make lovely containers for Epsom salts or other bath products. And oh yes -- 40 is a lot of tubes!!

These are great tubes! Very versatile, we use them for ice cream toppings, spices, herbs, candies for road trips, treat bags and baskets, bath salts. I used my label maker to make labels for the tubes I've used (clear tape with black or gold print). If I could find a stand for some of them, that'd be awesome. They are pretty thick and stans ok on their own but I do need to find something to keep them from falling over. Great find, I would buy again

These screw-top plastic tubes are great for any craft or candy storage purrpose. They seem pretty durable for repeat use if you are not using them as part of a gift. I don't know that I would try liquid in them as there isn't any type of seal. They are a generous size without taking up a lot of room in storage which is great for any crafter with a healthy stash! I got them specifically for beads and rhinestones, but they would be good for anything that is a at least a little smaller than the top of the tube. Great value for a great product!

These test tubes are incredibly versatile and have become an essential part of my crafting and organizing projects. The clear plastic design allows for easy visibility of contents, whether I'm storing small candies, spices, or crafting supplies. The included caps fit snugly, ensuring that my items stay fresh and secure. One of the things I love most about these test tubes is their durability. Despite being made of plastic, they are surprisingly sturdy and can withstand repeated use without cracking or breaking. This makes them perfect for both single-use projects and long-term storage solutions. The pack of 40 tubes is also a fantastic value for the price. I've found endless uses for them around the house, from organizing my kitchen pantry to creating unique party favors for special occasions. Plus, having a large quantity on hand means I never have to worry about running out when inspiration strikes.

I picked these up with a plan in mind for spice storage.I have a small pantry and tons of spices all stacked up in their large bottles. Impossible to find what you need.Using a laser cutter I designed a holder for 30 tubes, and engraved the spice name on the lids. Now I stead of taking up the entire cabinet, I have one shelf filled and clearly labeled. The tubes themselves are really durable, surviving a couple of tumbles from the counter without a problem. The lids screw on tightly and could even hold liquid without leaking.Great for grabbing a few spices to go camping, organizing tiny beads for my daughter, and whatever else the remaining 10 will get used for.

These covered test tubes are the perfect size for adding fairy lights to centerpieces, especially when using water beads for fillers. It's a great way to light up the centerpiece while protecting the lighting from the water and moisture. The light-filled tubes, the beads and suspended items make for huge wow factor. So perfect!
