I bought 4 of these at Christmas time! They are a good size. Very cute! Some are holding up better than others. That's because of the pups, not the product. My pup's piggy is looking like a zombie. My pup is 85 pounds. My grandpup, Harold, is keeping his as a lovie. He snuggles with it. Harold is about 50 pounds. This is very soft. It's well stitched, but can only take so much reasonable abuse. I have seen THIS PIG FLY!! It is not indestructible. But I did not expect it to last this long honestly. It's a good purchase.

Love playology, it took my beagle about 20 minutes before chewed up. She still loves what’s left.

I literally gave it to my 19 and 21 pound dogs. And within five minutes, they had ripped both legs off and found a hole to get stuffing out. I cannot recommend this item. It is already in the trash.(They are not overly destructive. They are not tough chewers)

Today we had to throw it away and we got it on the 18th. Didn't last long. We can not normally give our pit stuffy toys because she rips them asap. I am looking around to see what company actually makes toys for dogs that can't be shredded up or maybe lasts really long.

My minature schnauzer who is 9 months old eats and chews up everything in his path. I have had good luck with Playology bones and small stuffies and was excited to get the hen. My dog loved it, but ripped into it the first day we had it. I sewed it up about 4 times and each time he managed to rip into it. I had to take B it away from him.

I got this for my medium dog, she likes things that squeak and she likes to thrash things around the house. She is a true predator leaving no stuffie unharmed. I thought she would enjoy this toy since it makes noise when thrashed and has a scent that would make her curious about it, unfortunately she was not a fan. She took a sniff and immediately ran away from it, almost seeming scared of it. I thought maybe the scent was too strong, since it was for me, however I now believe its because of the scent itself. I washed it by hand and let it dry outside to help cut down on the strength and it helped a bit. I got her to start chasing the toy but once she would catch it she quickly became bored with it. This could be because she is used to squeakers that she just has to bite down on to get to make noise while with this toy you have to shake it in a very specific way to get it to make any sort of noise. After about a month of letting her pick when she interacts with it the only time I ever got her to actually play with it was when I would make its wings crinkle and even then she would only grab it then drop it.Since my medium dog didn't enjoy it much at all, I thought maybe my giant breed would. Unfortunately it was a similar story. My other dog would run around like a tornado after taking a sniff and would try to bite at it but then would run way once she actually got it in her mouth.Now the little black chicken just sits in the toy bin to be ignored for lamb chops and kongs. I may end up donating the poor little chicken to the shelter for some other dogs to try the hen out.Overall the chicken is well built and has both a mini groan tube to make its noise when shaken, as well as the wings being crinkle material so if you dog likes those kinds of toys they may enjoy this. The only real downside I have experienced is the smell. It is close to those little instant noodle seasoning packets but stronger with an odd bit of celery scent. It is also a bit tacky or sticky when you first open it which could be the fabric or whatever they use to add the scent. If you have a dog that chews up plushies or destuffs their toys then this might not be the toy for you.
