I accepted a discounted offer on this product in order to try it for review. I jumped at the offer as soon as I saw it was puppy footprints as my 2 year old niece would love to play with these. She loves animals and has a thing for footprints (humans, pets...it doesn't matter, she likes seeing footprints. Kind of weird, but she's 2, every 2 year old has a weird thing). I rolled out some butcher paper and let her go to town stamping these. It was a hit, she loved them. They are inked pretty well and she was able to apply enough pressure to get a good imprint most of the time. The blue and purple seemed to work the best and last the longest with the ink. The bad news is...they don't wash off skin very easily. She had ink all over her hands the rest of the day. It was gone the next day after a few more hand scrubs and a bath.Overall I really liked these, they provided a lot of fun and kept my niece occupied for quite awhile. The ones we used still had enough ink in them for a few more rounds of stamping frenzies but it did start to dry up after a few days. Not too bad for such an inexpensive stamp, and there are so many of them in the box that I have a feeling we'll be stamping for a very long time.

I have mixed feelings about these stamps. They were very reasonably priced. I purchased them for my students and said they were from my kitty. The students were really excited.The actual stamp makes it look like it will be a solid paw print, but if you look at the picture of the stamp marking you can see it looks more like a heart (not filled in). The packaging arrived damaged and the stamps were a mess. But they were individually wrapped so not a huge deal.Most worked well out of the box. I purchased them for my students to find and stamp the letter of the day in a letter puzzle. (So much faster and easier than circling or coloring.) Mt teammate liked the idea and all purchased, too.Unfortunately, the ink did not last. We are only about halfway through our book. Now I have to decide if I order a second set to finish or if I go back to having the students circle or color. (My stamp was the first to dry out so it definitely wasn’t from improper storage or overuse.) We did approximately five stamps on paper only for about 12 letters and the kids safely capped and stored the stamps standing up on their name tags. Kind of a bummer.

Three of the stamps don't show well on paper. Maybe it's just the set I got, I don't know. Two of the others bleed through so badly I can CLEARLY see them from the other side of the page. I guess they're fine for kids' projects, but they're not any good for scrapbooking or anything like that.

I don't like the fact that there isn't enough ink in the stamps, they are very dry.
