These hoops are nice for hanging embroidery on the wall. One caveat; the outer ring is rubber, similar to a vacuum cleaner belt. It works fine and looks fine, but it's not super easy to get it wrapped over the inner plastic ring. Takes two hands.

Very hard to use due to inflexibility and tightness- they’re aesthetically beautiful but logistically difficult to pry apart and then set back together. Good luck.

First order, the inner hoop for the frame was broken. Seller replaced. Second order, the hanger was broken. I just don't feel like sending it back a second time. I'm going to try to hang them without the hangers. They are really difficult to frame. It's hard to get the artwork centered in the frame. But they do look nice once they're in.UPDATED: gave 5 stars just for fantastic service. The seller advised that soaking the frame in very warm water can help them be more pliable and reduce the chance of breaking.

They’re plastic, wood look, and do what they advertise. I think they look nice with the final projects. After seeing some reviews of the breaking, I embroidered my piece separately, and placed the hoop in hot water before attempting to mount it. That made the plastic flexible and I had no breakage issues. Would buy again.

I thought some of the reviews may be exaggerating about how difficult these hoops are to separate, but seriously these are HARD to separate. Some of them aren’t too bad, but most are nearly impossible to remove and the fabric is so tight it’s like a drum once you get it in place. But if you’re able to use them, they really are pretty- I am using them for hand embroidery Christmas ornaments

I use these embroidery rings for framing finished work and gift them to family and friends using the hoops as frames. Works great. Tight and neat when the fabric is sewn together in the back.

The rings are impossible to separate. To do so, you have to bend them completely out of shape. When trying to frame my embroidery, the inner ring snapped, making the hoop now useless. I will be looking into alternate framing options (there are pricier but better quality ones on Etsy and Michael’s MakerPlace!) and recommend the same for anyone else considering these.
