I was kind of hoping for a cute, soft pair of slightly loose/baggy carpenter jean shorts. That's not what these are. They are not very stretchy at the waist at least, where they are on the tight side and very constricting. Then they kind of burst outward in this stiff, coarse, triangle shape from your body. And for some reason, the hammer loop is big enough to fit a Cabbage Patch Kid in.For reference, I am 5ft 1in, 112lbs, 35 bust, 26 waist, 36 hip. I got the size 4.The fit: Not for me.The fabric: Also, not for me, but it is good quality fabric. I would expect these to be durable.The workmanship: The workmanship appears without fault. Everything seems sewn quite well.Bottom Line: These shorts are not my cupa, but YMMV. They are well-made and the fabric is a good quality denim. 3.5 stars, rounded up.I hope my review has been of some help. A great price, nice material and good quality for what youre getting. I sized up and was happy with that decision so they fit a little looser.

These are a good, medium weight cotton denim. They are exactly as described, fit true to size, are comfortable-- I love them, and highly recommend them! I'm probably going to order more, in whatever colors I can get.

Very nice, they fit as expected. The denim is a little bluer than pictured but nothing too noticeable. I’d definitely recommend!

I am a size 14 normally and I couldn't even begin to button these in a 14. I would say they run at least 2 sizes small. They are, however, nice heavy fabric and are made as pictured.

Nice and comfy. I wear 14-16 and got the 14. Fits perfectly! Looking forward to the warm weather to show off my new shorts!
