Another Plugable brand product purchase, another excellent product! Plugable never lets me down. I buy their products for both my IT business and my clients - and they never let me and/or my clients down.Very straight-forward and easy to setup, configure, and utilize - without issue!!The beauty of this model is the two HDMI ports where most others offer a single HDMI with a VGA, DVI, or DisplayPort. I wanted simple, dual HDMI ports for my client already established with two HDMI compatible monitors and their HDMI cables.Thank you for offering this excellent product, Plugable. I'll definitely be back for more of your products as needs arise!

This dock was recommended by my company IT department for my work from home station. I just plugged it and connected it to my Dell laptop and it worked immediately without having to download anything. I also connected an external hard drive, a wireless keyboard and mouse combo, and a webcam. All working fine. Very good product.

This is a late review on the Plugable USB 3.0/USB-C docking station.Have had this for about 4 years, originally connected to a Dell Insprion with the standard (old?) USB cable. Upgraded to a Dell Vostra 5620 about a year ago and thought I would need a new docking station since the new Dell had a USB-C port and not the older regular USB 3.0 port. Remembered the docking station came with an extra USB-C cable and was able to find it. Got connected and was able complete my station setup and move forward. This week I started to experience some problems with the display of my extended monitor - an LG - which was connected via the docking station via one of the HDMI ports. Intially it was acting funny where everytime I attempted to move the mouse onto the extended monitor, it would go blank on my and few seconds later, it would come back. It kept on doing that and I was unable to use the monitor. Had experienced similar issues previously but not to that extent. Decided to restart my computer, hoping that would clear up the issue. Well that didn't work and I could no longer access my extended monitor - kept saying it didn't have a connection. Did a quick Google search and didn't find any solutions but did see an issue where they had a HDMI port issue and were told to reach out to Plugable Support, which I did. They were quick to respond back and asked for the order # and had me load an app to generate a log file for them to review. In the meantime, since I needed to continue working, I plug the HDMI cable from the monitor directly to the computer. Once I got the email response from Support, I replugged the HDMI port back to the docking station and low and behold, the monitor was working. I still ran the debugging tool they recommended and sent them the file. About an hour later, they responded that the issue may be with the DisplayLink driver - it was "a little outdated". I followed there instructions for updating the driver and have not had an issue again.5 stars for the docking station not previously causing any problems5 stars for including an extra USB-C cable with the docking station5 stars for Support working with me to solve the problem and being very responsive. Thanks Plugable! Will not hesitate purchasing your products in the future!

I really like this and it has worked well with my older laptop. It makes setting up multiple screens relatively easy. I only give this 4 stars because it seems to have trouble processing 2 screens, a wireless mouse, AND a wireless keyboard (every once in awhile there will be stretches where it doesn't process keyboard strokes).

I tried two other USB-C hubs that were cheaper, but they didn't work with my older HDMI monitors when the hubs were plugged into the USB-C port in my brand-new Lenovo laptop. I was trying to update an older Pluggable docking station and finally decided to try a newer Pluggable docking station. This new Pluggable docking station works with my new laptop and older monitors, using the docking station's USB-C cable. I also liked the fact that the Pluggable docking station came with the required power cable - the others didn't, even though the tech support information for the first two hubs said a PD power supply / cable "might be required".

I got this for my wife's laptop as she likes to work with two larger monitors. Previously I had found and installed a non powered unit which presented numerous problems from not connecting the monitors or to a USB external drive, resulting in various manipulations needed to get everything up and running. This is no longer the case as once this is powered up all of the peripherals up and ready to go. Great up-date and well worth the money.

Here's my set up: Laptop (HP using Windows), two monitor extensions, wireless mouse, wireless keyboard, external webcam, USB ring light and two external hard drives. All of that is plugged into and routed through this lightweight and small little tower. The picture makes it look bigger than it is. For me, it stays tucked away behind my extended monitors and completely out of the way.Big note: THIS IS NOT A DEVICE THAT WILL POWER YOUR LAPTOP! Your laptop will be required to be plugged in, independently. Using either a USB or USB-C, you plug the tower into your Laptop and that will run all of the other functional devices.Would I buy this again? Absolutely. If you're looking to clean up your desk mess (you know it's a mess), then this should be one of your first purchases. I had tried a couple others and they just didn't cut it. The design and functionality make this a perfect little addition to my home office.I've been using this for a few months now and have not had any issues.

I was looking for an afordable docking station for my Lenovo Thinkpad. This little unit has answered all my needs. I plug 2 screens, network cable, lots of USB charging ports. Installation was plus ang play. The only thing to know is it does not ''power'' your laptop. So you still need to plug your laptop on its charger.

Wish I would have found this dock earlier. Worked like a charm, literally Plug & Play. No hassle.
