When opened was blue then realized it was blue protective film on them. Tip: bend the some edges inward a tiny bit then use a hammer to hit them in. Seals great and very tight and doesn’t work at all when I did it this way . I would buy again.

This doesn’t fit snugly on my sink, so I have got some silicone to seal it up so there is no water leak.

Side note, it stuck out like a sore thumb on my dark granite counter. I asked my husband to paint it, so he sprayed it black. It looks great.

It goes in easy, which is why I chose this one. It is not a firm or snug fit, so it can be slightly moved but stays in. I would buy it again.

It is not stainless steel. It is chrome plated steel. A magnet sticks to it very well, which means it isn't even chrome plated stainless, so it will rust once the chrome starts to flake off.
