I'm a ham radio operator and electronics engineer and I don't review purchased items unless they stand out. I bought this dimmable power supply so that I could retrofit the 12 volt LED lighting that I put up over our kitchen dining island which had been halogen bulbs controlled by a dimmer switch. The end result is way better than I expected. They dim down low enough now that I can leave them on when going to bed and wanting the area just illuminated enough that someone in the house coming home late can do so and not trip to their death. And the action of the dimming is nice and smooth so there are no abrupt changes in intensity that might startle a person. Very slick! There is no hum and best of all no "birdies" or "hiss" on my HF radios. I've had this working since November 2018, almost a year ago, and it's been working very well. The price is very reasonable too. I thought I was going to have to design and build a power supply myself but this has been a perfect solution. Being able to use an existing dimmer switch in the wall makes it a great upgrade. Mine was the 50W version, btw. This unit gets both thumbs up on engineering. I consider it a well designed item and that's saying a LOT from me who rarely impressed.

Bought this to pair with a Lutron PD-6wcl-wh dimmer switch for our kitchen under cabinet table lights. This power supply does not disappoint. When attached to the LuTron dimmer, it gives excellent dimming range on my 12 V tape lights with no flickering and a stable dimming ability. The only thing that I don’t like about it as other reviewer‘s have stated, is that when you put it under a dimming load, it will give off a very quiet high pitched buzz or shrill. If you have it in an attic or basement or crawl space or cabinet out of the way, you probably will not have a problem, but definitely would not want it where it can be heard such as underneath the cabinet.I ran it for a few minutes under a load with the buzzing, and the unit did not seem to get overheated. Overall for the price it is a great unit, the only reason I gave it four stars was because of the buzzing under the load.

Replaced the 14year old original ikea 12vdc power supplies which started shutting off and always flickered when dimmed below 30%. I liked the cover over the 120vac terminals. Solid build, running 40 watts of dimmable LEDs on it for 8hrs a day for 2 weeks.

Used this to drive a set of LED strips that I installed above my cabinets. Works great. Wasn't sure about compatibility with my dimmer. Description says it for only for "triac dimmers". Happy to report that my Leviton DZ6HD Zwave dimmer works perfectly with it.

This is the second LED Driver I've bought of this brand. While I have had neither long, they both have met my expectations in terms of build quality and performance. No noise, no flickering, and no noticeable heat.

Have two that I use with LED strips controlled by caseta wireless dimmers and they both work great. 3+ years and still going on the first one.

Best thing of this is a soft start . Soft illumination shall I say . It adds charm to the undermounted lights .

Bought these to replace halogen specific transformer. No issues with install and works great and no more hot halogens that burn out.
