Though studies have stated that Detail Guardz Dirt Lock is the best you can get. These will provide some protection by keeping your mitt or towel from touching the bottom of the bucket where grit could collect.The best method is to single use a towel or mitt. Have several in your wash bucket and only use it once. They use additional to you complete washing your vehicle. The best method for no contamination in your wash bucket.You do get 2 so a decent value, and you could even stack these in the bucket for a higher level above the bottom of the bucket.

Basically this is an insert that help keep the dirt off of your wash sponge or mit while washing your car. You get two in this pack for the price of one from other companies. They work great and they are built well. I highly recommend these, you can't beat the quality for the price and the safety of keeping contaminants off of your paint while washing.

The car wash bucket inserts are of great value and quality. I was surprised to see the prices for brand names that are essentially the same thing, except for the name brand. You get a two-pack for less than the cost of one from the big brands. They fit standard 5-gallon buckets and stay at the bottom of the bucket without floating to the top when filled with water. They do a great job of keeping the dirt at the bottom and provide enough height to keep it off the wash mitt and rags.
